Don’t fear the liquid. stila’s genius liner turns anyone into a beauty pro. It gets rid of the complication and mess of regular liquid liner by swapping out the usual brush for a marker-style tip. All of a sudden, it’s easy to get a smooth line, and because it’s waterproof, it won’t budge even on the hottest days .
I have been struggling to find an eye liner that stays all day and doesn't budge from my upper or lower lid. This product had a lot of positive reviews so I was excited to try it out but unfortunately it did not work for me as promised. By the end of the day the liner was completely gone from my lower lid and just barely visible on my upper lid.1
I had such high hopes, lesson learned never buy before you try! The application is horrible can't get a smooth line because it tugs. In order to get a thick line you have to apply several coats. I am not a fan. Wish i had used my points on something i knew i liked but i needed eyeliner at the time. Buyer beware, you can get better at the drugstore. It was so dry to be a new liner.1
I loved the idea of this liquid eyeliner. A marker-style liquid eyeliner that will go on smooth, not budge and last through summer days at the pool? Sign me up!
Unfortunately, the execution is poor. I feel like I have to press the brush on my eye rather hard to get the eyeliner to apply, and it does NOT go on evenly or smoothly. I have spent more time fooling with this liner than just using a regular pencil liner. Who cares if it's waterproof if it doesn't look good?
I've tried it about 3 times, and I think I'll give it one more shot before returning. Disappointed.
I feel that this liner isn't pigmented enough to be worth all the hype. I prefer Clio Waterproof Brush Liner!2
I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS. I HAVE THE COLOR WHITE AND I CAME OFF WITH WATER IN AN INSTANT!!!!2
I don't know what was in this, but it gave me some sort of reaction. Would not recommend for sensitive eyes. Also, the product went on smoothly enough but wasn't very thick. I found parts of my line came off throughout the day.2
This liner came with the highest ratings and I had high hopes for it. I chose the brown color. The liner is easy to use with a soft tip for flexibility and no tugging on the lid area. The liner did not budge on my lid area, but at the outer eye where I wing out the liner never held. Unfortunately, it did not ever make it past about 4 hours. The other downside was that the liner dried up quite quickly. After about 1 & 1/2 months. In similar products, I have used they normally last quite a bit longer. For the price and the hype I expected more.2
All I had heard were rave reviews about this product so I decided to try it. I have fairly oily eyelids and unfortunately I found that it tends to flake off extremely quickly on me. It's super easy to use and I love the preciseness of the brush but I wish it lasted longer on me :(2
I got this in the Moss color. It is very pigmented and a lovely color.
I like the application. It's easy to use.
I did not use primer and the color leaked out instead of staying in my perfect line! To be fair, I did not try it with primer.
The main reason I'm only giving it two stars is because I am looking for a smudge-proof and water-proof liner. This smudged after just two hours of wear. By the end of the day (about 7 hours of wear) I literally had no liner left at all. I wasn't even out doing anything, just chilling at home. Not worth it for the money.
This product was not smooth and did not glide over the eye nicely. The tip became dry quickly (within seconds) and became useless. I would not recommend this product to anyone.2
