Don’t fear the liquid. stila’s genius liner turns anyone into a beauty pro. It gets rid of the complication and mess of regular liquid liner by swapping out the usual brush for a marker-style tip. All of a sudden, it’s easy to get a smooth line, and because it’s waterproof, it won’t budge even on the hottest days.
While this review may not hold up to most standards - i'm not a liquid liner kind of girl and it's because of liners like this one. While it was easy to apply and the tip was always full - the liner smeared like crazy! I tried to tap powder over it, let it dry for a ridiculously long time and the liner still continued to smear. If you're not a liquid girl but want to try a liquid liner - I would steer clear of this one.1
This is the best liquid eye liner I have ever used. Goes on easy and stays on all day. Love it.1
I've heard countless people rave about this eyeliner, so I dropped the money to buy it. My biggest concern was that my eyeliner lasted, and I have to keep looking. This eyeliner fades and smudges even when worn on top of primer with me. I was so disappointed! I'll have to save it for short term wear.1
I purchased this eyeliner based on reviews. Lesson learned. Apparently the people using this do not ever sweat or come into contact with anything moist. I can lick my finger and remove this eyeliner. $22 down the drain.1
I have been struggling to find an eye liner that stays all day and doesn't budge from my upper or lower lid. This product had a lot of positive reviews so I was excited to try it out but unfortunately it did not work for me as promised. By the end of the day the liner was completely gone from my lower lid and just barely visible on my upper lid.1
I had such high hopes, lesson learned never buy before you try! The application is horrible can't get a smooth line because it tugs. In order to get a thick line you have to apply several coats. I am not a fan. Wish i had used my points on something i knew i liked but i needed eyeliner at the time. Buyer beware, you can get better at the drugstore. It was so dry to be a new liner.1
I loved the idea of this liquid eyeliner. A marker-style liquid eyeliner that will go on smooth, not budge and last through summer days at the pool? Sign me up!
Unfortunately, the execution is poor. I feel like I have to press the brush on my eye rather hard to get the eyeliner to apply, and it does NOT go on evenly or smoothly. I have spent more time fooling with this liner than just using a regular pencil liner. Who cares if it's waterproof if it doesn't look good?
I've tried it about 3 times, and I think I'll give it one more shot before returning. Disappointed.
I got the blue color as a sample. I really wasn't impressed with this product. When I applied it, it was really watery and I felt like the color was diluted. It could have been the color I got but I just didn't like the way it looked.2
I bought this in two different colors because I had heard nothing but good things and the swatch on my hand was nice. Trying to layer it over my eyeshadow was a disaster. It bunched and skipped. It wasn't what I was expecting at all, but I plan to give it a few more tries.2
I'm pretty disappointed with this liner - it's dissimilar to apply (doesn't glide on smoothly like other similar products) and it smears easily. If I try to correct or widen the eyeliner I already applied it starts to come off and smudged easily. Not impressed.2
