Don’t fear the liquid. stila’s genius liner turns anyone into a beauty pro. It gets rid of the complication and mess of regular liquid liner by swapping out the usual brush for a marker-style tip. All of a sudden, it’s easy to get a smooth line, and because it’s waterproof, it won’t budge even on the hottest days .
I got this in the Moss color. It is very pigmented and a lovely color.
I like the application. It's easy to use.
I did not use primer and the color leaked out instead of staying in my perfect line! To be fair, I did not try it with primer.
The main reason I'm only giving it two stars is because I am looking for a smudge-proof and water-proof liner. This smudged after just two hours of wear. By the end of the day (about 7 hours of wear) I literally had no liner left at all. I wasn't even out doing anything, just chilling at home. Not worth it for the money.
This product was not smooth and did not glide over the eye nicely. The tip became dry quickly (within seconds) and became useless. I would not recommend this product to anyone.2
I purchased this from Birchbox and the item received did not flow properly from the tip, only the base. I informed them of this and they sent a replacement. The replacement had the exact same problem. I've spoken with others on beauty forums and they complain of the same issue.
There is no excuse for this type of product in this price range to be such an utter and complete failure. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed with Stila products, but it is definitely the last time. I'm done with this brand.
Definitely stayed on well the few times I could manage to make my eyeliner look vaguely presentable, no thanks to the terrible applicator. This 'pro' is the only reason it's getting 2 stars instead of 1.
Don't walk away from this liner. RUN.
Like other reviewers, I feel this is too thick. I got maybe 5 uses out of it. I would not recommend it. There are many other eyeliners out there.2
I really expected to love this, and I don't. Halfway through the day, I find it all under my eye and on my lid. I used to like it more, but it seems to have gotten more liquid-y. Not a fan.2
No the time of eyeliner for me. It stays long lasting, but also the bright color is not for daytime and only for a certain time of night.3
I just got his eyeliner. I'm pretty bummed out as I was trying to find the perfect liquid liner. I have tried Kat Von Ds liner, and its crumbly when it dries and the pen is is scratchy. It was between this one and Eyeko this time. I went with Stila. First of all the pen size is fine and color is fine (black) and the tip is soft and fine, but thats the only good thing I have to say about it, is application was PERFECT. BUT, I felt like I had to keep reapplying as some parts would wear of faster than others and start looking more transparent. Within 2 hours I looked in the mirror and my thick bold line on both upper lids had worn down to nothing but a few smudged dots in my inner corner. I had done nothing those 2 hours other than sit at a desk. For the price and the fact that it's Stila, I am so bummed, Ive tried dollar store pens that are better.3
I really do like this liner, it has a great applicator so it is easy to put on without tugging, I usually wear it if I am going somewhere for a little while like the movies, or out with my boyfriend because it doesn't really pop, its very subtle. But it definitely isn't my go to liner because it doesn't last all day and stand out like i'm use to.3
I liked it at first, but after about the fith time I went to use it, it was dry, out of ink and pigment. I love the color, just I think it is too much money to pay for the product.3
the eyeliner is a nice defined black and it has a nice pen style tip, but it takes too long to dry so you end up doing one eye at a time and it ends up being uneven and takes forever3
