Don’t fear the liquid. stila’s genius liner turns anyone into a beauty pro. It gets rid of the complication and mess of regular liquid liner by swapping out the usual brush for a marker-style tip. All of a sudden, it’s easy to get a smooth line, and because it’s waterproof, it won’t budge even on the hottest days .
But this product is fairly easy to use. I normally don't wear makeup, but if I want something dramatic, I use this eyeliner. Just be careful!4
I love the fact that it's almost like just writing on your eyes with a fine tip marker. I've been so used to liquid liner that you have to hold perfectly in order to get that line right. This liner stays put and you can get the perfect cat eye or tiny flick with it instead of a big glob of black on your eye. precision and less is more! You can always add to what you've put on. :)4
Love this eyeliner. Not only does it look great on.. but it has that same great look after you have been wearing it all day long.4
The great thing about this liner is how easy it is to put on... The elongated tip really helps to get a precise line, and to tightline if you're looking for something more intense. However... There's a drugstore brand that I like just as much, so this will be just a one-time treat :)4
Love the pen design! So simple to just pop off the cap and draw on the perfect line with the marker-like tip. And this stuff doesn't budge, either.
The only downside so far is that you have to smudge quickly -- while the liner is still pretty wet -- if you want any kind of smokey-eye look. Otherwise it dries so fast that your smudging attempts don't quite work...
Overall, a totally solid beauty must-have.
Of all the liquid eye liners I've tried, Stila really sticks around all day without needing to re-apply. The black works really great and super dark...haven't had as much luck with the other colors.4
This is so easy to use and to control. It stays on fairly long, but sometimes needs a touch up if no primer is used. Love the colors. The gray is a bit light, but otherwise I love the black.4
i love the packaging of this eyeliner. the pen design makes it simple to use for those with steady hands. it glides on pretty easily and be sure not to shake it too much (it could get messy) i have pretty oily lids and most of the past eyeliners i've tried doesn't stay on past noon, but this seems to last for most of my 8-hour works days. just be sure to put on primer before applying the liner, especially for those who have oily lids.
i wore this for an extended amount of time (shame on me) and it kind of flakes off after a while. it's very easy to apply, glides on, looks great while it lasts though.4
My sister turned me on to this eyeliner. She's in her late teens, and just learnin to use liquid liner, and she swears by this as the only one she can get clean lines from.
I do like it quite a bit. Its not a perfect product, though.
It hasn't been at all waterproof, in my experience. It comes off immediately with a wet washcloth or water-based cleansing cloth (it's actually much easier to remove than my mascara, which isn't waterproof). It also tends to wear off on me if I want to wear it all day- after a few hours it starts to look like I rubbed my eyes. So this product is not something I wear to work. I notice that since this has product coming out from within the tip (rather than being dipped in product and transferring onto the lid) it will pick up the pigment from my lids and make muddy, grey lines instead of bold, black ones. I often need multiple coats as it ends up covered in a layer of my eyeshadow if I have a lot packed on. This is really the biggest drawback, because I mostly want this when I'm going out, and that's when I have the most eyeshadow on. I've used a few similar drugstore products that had a similar format but actually seemed to perform a little better (though, they wore out in a couple weeks and required constant shaking).
I like this product. I recommend it for those who are learning to use liquid liner, or those without a steady hand. I think I'll look elsewhere when this dries up, though.
