The only thing worse than chapped lips? Sticky, waxy lips. S.W. Basics all-natural balm soothes dry, cracked mouths without depositing tacky residue or excess shine. Packed in a cute tin with four delicious scents (Peppermint, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Citrus), the beeswax-based line-up has a salve to suit any mood.
This lip balm is pretty moisturizing. I got the cinnamon scented one in my box. The scent was just TOO overpowering, it made me feel nauseous. Smelt like really strong vitamins to me for some reason. Wish they could just tone down the scent and it would be great. I think I am better suited for the peppermint one maybe.2
Got the peppermint flavor in my snow day box , and I must say I love this chap stick!!! Didn't think I would because I'm picky about my Chapstick... It's organic, moisturizers, doesn't feel greasy, and the peppermint feels amazing.5
This lip balm is pretty good! The cinnamon flavor also has cardamom mixed in. It should be labelled Cardamom flavor instead of cinnamon bc it definitely overpowers any other scent and flavor. It's not bad though. But, I would've preferred more cinnamon or just a different flavor all together lol. I'd like to try the Peppermint one.
One thing I really like about this lip balm is that it doesn't leave any medicinal weird metallic-like after taste, as do Chapstick brand and others like it.
I received the Cinnamon Lip Balm in the Snow Day box. I love the feel of the balm when I put it on...very effective product. The cinnamon scent is a bit too much for me though.3
I have the driest of dry lips that peel 24x7. I am very very picky about lip balms. This stuff was awesome! It came in my snow box (thankfully), or it may have been a long time before I got to try it. The scent is great (cinnamon), and it really works. It is not sticky at all.5
This lip balm is wonderful! It applies so smoothly and feels great on dry lips. It's so hard to find really moisturizing lip balms for dry winter months but this one is really amazing!4
This chapstick has all the ingredients you would want in a chapstick but misses the big mark. I received the cinnamon one in my Snow Day box and thought I was going to love it but instead I don't. The smell of it after you put it on starts to give you a headache and it never soaks it. It stays greasy on your lips. I had to eventually wipe it off. Perhaps a different scent would have a different outcome.1
I received a full-sized sample of the peppermint flavored lip balm in my box, and I immediately opened it and used it. I am a lip balm snob, and probably have 20 tubes in and around my house...I never go without...anyway, I really like this one, it has a great smell and feels luxurious on too...I would buy this brand.5
I received the Peppermint chapstick in my box and like it! As a chapstick fantatic, I find myself reaching for this all the time. The peppermint is both refreshing and moisturizing. It has a little bit of a textured/waxy feel when putting it on but not once it is on. Overall, a great natural buy that could even be better than Burt's Bees.4
I'm still in the search for a dream lip balm and since the weather is getting colder I desperately need one! I appreciated receiving it but I would have preferred the peppermint one (as it is my favorite scent/flavor). It seems moisturizing enough, not overly so---and really like the simple ingredients. But keep in mind, I think the flavor name should be changed to 'cardamom' since it is the main scent I smell. Which I actually like more over a simple cinnamon scent. I'll keep it on hand since I like the natural ingredients.4
