The only thing worse than chapped lips? Sticky, waxy lips. S.W. Basics all-natural balm soothes dry, cracked mouths without depositing tacky residue or excess shine. Packed in a cute tin with four delicious scents (Peppermint, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Citrus), the beeswax-based line-up has a salve to suit any mood.
This lip balm feels very nice on my lips, but I cannot get over how gross the cocoa balm smells. It smells rotten, and it is strong. I am not sure about the other scents, I only have cocoa.1
Love the natural ingredients in this lip balm. Still getting used to the rich cocoa scent, but the texture is great!4
Although I am typically more of a lipstick and lipgloss kind of girl, this Sprout Lip Balm is a great product. I love both the way it feels on my lips as well as its immediate softening effects. As a chocoholic, I must give you one warning.....the yummy scent of the cocoa balm is definitely going to make you dream of your favorite chocolate!5
Ingedient list is short & familiar. No icky petrolatum. Colorless & very very slight shine. Winters are long & dry where I live. Apply at bedtime & awake w/ moisturized, smooth lips!5
Goes on smooth and feels nice I got cocoa smell is strong but pleasant, over all I liked it!4
This feels like silk gliding on my lips and has a wonderful cocoa smell. It keeps my lips moisturized but not "gunky" feeling. I am definitely buying this for stocking stuffers!!5
I put on the Sprout lip balm before going to bed. When I woke up, my lips were softer than they have ever been. The smell takes some getting used to...at first it was weird to have lip balm smell like chocolate. I like how instead of coating your lips it actually moistens them.4
I got the cocoa scent in my October BB. I was really excited to try it since I have an issue with chapped lips and have a hard time finding chapstick that actually works!
It does a great job bringing back moisture to my lips and I bet it would help heal them if I used it more often. But I don't use it that often because of the scent. I'm sure the citrus and peppermint smell nice, but the cocoa is over powering. It reminds me of a cheap "chocolate flavored" lip gloss I got at the roller-rink as a kid.
I hope they work on their scents because the product it a good one. If they end up making newer scents, I would consider buying.
I like the smell, and always love to get lip products, but this is a bit grainy - too real life for me ! Not very moisturizing.2
The lip balm felt great on the lips and didn't feel like I needed to reapply often. How ever I am not at all a fan of sweet lip balms. I prefer mints.3
