Like a sturdy roll of duct tape, this multitasking spray is the ultimate quick-fix product. Part dry shampoo, part texturizer, its unique formula soaks up oils in grimy hair, and gives your flattened, blown-out coif an instant dose of altitude. Patented polymers absorb oil to give hair a rough-and-tumble texture, while adding a bit of hold to keep things in place—all without the powdery residue that some dry shampoos leave behind. Waking up late never felt so serene.
This stuff is incredible. I have incredibly fine hair, and not a lot of it - my ponytails are the saddest thing ever. However, this product gives my hair volume and texture, making it hold styles and feel and look thick (I like this better than the brand's "thick" texturizing spray). It's expensive but it's SO worth it. I have a ton of the purse size sprays - when I go on vacation it can replace most of my styling products, as well as my dry shampoo. I can't recommend this enough, especially if you have hair like mine. A few quick sprays at the roots and you'll have lift and body, and your hair will be great the second day as well.5
I had been wanting to purchase this product for ages but was a little unsure if the product would be worth the pricetag and hype around the product, but it definitely is! It gives your hair tons of volume and texture, smells great and works well as a dry shampoo. I'm super low maintenance with my hair and this is pretty much the only product I need. I'll definitely be repurshasing this when I run out!5
I have fine hair that lacks volume. I have tried every volumizing, texturizing, and dry shampoo product out there. Not only does this work better than anything else, it is all 3 products in one. Since it's expensive, I've looked for alternatives (Bumble and Bumble Dryspun, Redken Windblown, Alterna Bamboo Volume Uplifiting Hairspray, etc) and nothing holds up to Oribe. Plus the smell is amazing. I used to have to wash my hair daily, now I can get away with only twice a week thanks to Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray.5
I love the smell of this product & it really gave my hair great volume. I love it!5
I have an in between thin and normal thickness hair. My hair is straight and gets oily really quickly which results in my having to wash my hair more often that what is healthy. Dry shampoo is amazing. This one in particular really helps take away some of the shine without leaving a weird smell or residue5
Reading the other reviews, I wonder if I used mine wrong! I have very course hair, somewhere between wavy and curly. This spray weighed my hair down, making it oily and straggly looking. I tried it a second time right after showering because I thought maybe it was interacting with another product. Same result! Plus, left tons of dandruff in my hair.2
I love the smell, but the spray does nothing for my hair. I also don't like the residue it leaves behind..3
This product did help to texturier my hair but unfortunately also left it feeling unpleasantly sticky and rough.3
People rave about this spray and it just did not do it for me. Smelled great but didn't really absorb oils or even give me great texture.3
I am not wild about the price (who is?), but this product is seriously worth it. My hair looks like I washed it last night, but I washed it four (four!) days ago. It doesn't make my hair feel chalky, it smells like a dream, and it gives me the "I woke up like this" volume and texture that I can never seem to recreate. If you're hesitant to commit to the full size because of the price like I was, try out the styling kit minis.5
