Part dry shampoo, part texturizer, this genius invention controls oils in dirty hair and gives clean but blah tresses instant lift. It makes everything more fun, from blowouts to messy updos.
I have a sensitive scalp. I use Oribe Shampoo for beautiful color and love it. I was really hoping to like this product, but unfortunately it causes my hair to feel weighed down. It also causes build up. When I use this product my hair feels sticky and feels like it breaks easier.1
Love this product. A friend introduced me to it and I am now obsessed. It smells really good, and, for my hair, it has the same (perhaps even better?) effect that beach/sea salt spray has on my hair - i.e., brings out the layers. Highly recommend this!!!5
This really is amazing. I don't use it often, but I like it on second-day hair after it has gone flat a bit. I'll curl it with a curling iron and fluff it up, and spray this a bit. It gives it enough texture to be that perfect wind-tousled look. It is awfully expensive, but I don't mind spending the money when its something that will last many months.5
I have super fine hair and always on the hunt for anything to help give my pony tails or up-dos added "oomph" without having to use clip-ins or extensions. The Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray is the perfect compromise for added volume and texture on those days. Without any of the residue from other dry shampoos and volumizers.
Biggest pro and surprise was the added shine. Biggest con is the price.
Originally tried it out at a beauty salon, but didn't buy due to the price. Was happy to see I could buy on Birchbox using my points for a bit of a discount on the full size.
I am absolutely obsessed with this product!! My hair is very thin and fine so it tends to fall flat no matter what I do. This product gives it the perfect messy/volume look I've been looking for! And to top it off, it makes my hair less greasy. Amazing product!5
I was really excited to try this product because it had great reviews and I love dry shampoos that give volume. Unfortunately, I would not consider it a dry shampoo. It left my hair more greasy and extremely dirty looking.
I gave it another shot when my hair was freshly washed and mostly dry. It did give my hair some volume and texture, but it also left my hair more prone to tangling.
Overall, I'm very disappointed in this product.
The first time I had my hair done by one of my clients stylists, she used a ton of Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and nothing else. The way it smelled, the way it added volume to the top of my head and the way it magical held my braid in place until 3am all blew my mind.
I think this is a beauty product MUST. A staple in your cabinet. I use this as an alternative to dry shampoo when my hair needs a little life and when I'm trying to keep it all in one place for more than my walk to the subway.
Get it. You won't be disappointed.
This stuff is the greatest! After a blow out or just to refresh a light spray adds texture and volume without feeling gummy. I have the large and several travel size - never without. Highly recommend.5
Not love, but like! I use this the second day of waving/curling my hair. It is a good refresher in the morning to give my hair more texture and get rid of any oil that may have gathered on my hair (if I blowdry my hair, it automatically goes straight without the use of a brush, and the next day it looks SO gross that this product can't even revive it, so it only works for me on second day wavy hair). The smell is fabulous, and I love that weird/rough texture that it gives my hair.. And it doesn't make it LOOK dirty which is good!4
After reading reviews I was expecting this product to be amazing but I thought it was just good or okay, just another dry shampoo type product. I will continue to use it after spending the hefty price for a full bottle and hope it gets better!3
