Like a sturdy roll of duct tape, this multitasking spray is the ultimate quick-fix product. Part dry shampoo, part texturizer, its unique formula soaks up oils in grimy hair, and gives your flattened, blown-out coif an instant dose of altitude. Waking up late never felt so serene. Patented polymers absorb oil to give hair a rough-and-tumble texture, while adding a bit of hold to keep things in place—all without the powdery residue that some dry shampoos leave behind.
I love Oribe products. This one is a huge disappointment. After an hour or so my hair is matted and looks worse than before I used it. I am thinking it must not work well with my hair texture, I have semi fine long hair.1
I got the smaller size can, and it was really hard to get anything to come out. Maybe that affected how I used it, because i had to hold it at an awkward angle to get any product out. All this did was make my hair frizzy. I have straight thick hair, and it just wasn't right for me.1
As many times as I have tried, this does nothing for my hair, it's like using hair spray. And it does NOT operate like dry shampoo on any level. Very disappointed and very surprised.1
There are other similar products out there that are not so pricey and do the same thing, or better.
Look at overall reviews for Dry Shampoo's ...
this product is ok. not worth the money. to expensive of this product. I've tried better ones in the past1
Honestly not a huge fan, left buildup and made hair crispy. Would prefer something lighter and with a better scent.1
I feel like there is a secret club for this spray and I don't know how to get in. I read the reviews and had to try it. I don't like it at all. Makes my hair heavy. And smelly. Maybe I am not using it right because my hair doesn't feel cleaner at all if I use it. For me, a disappointment and something that will gather dust in my cabinet.1
I bought this for the rave reviews but it did nothing for me. It didn't work as a dry shampoo. Didn't add any volume. It did add a little texture if I used a lot but nowhere near as much as other products.1
OK, clearly everyone else loves this stuff. I have no idea why. It smells so strong that it gives me a headache instantaneously and my husband complains that it makes the bathroom unusable for 20 minutes. It makes my hair sticky and dull-looking, not clean and fresh-looking. My hair feels tangly and matted after using. I don't think it does anything for volume other than just sticky-fy you. And the ingredients make me cringe. Nothing like some hydrofluorocarbon, denatured alcohol, and methanol based propellent for the environment and your lungs. And the price tag is totally insane. So pretty much no all around.1
I bought this dry shampoo because I've tried a million (really - a dozen) and everyone is always raving about this. The reviews are excellent, the fashionable woman in the magazine uses it, etc.
I ordered the purse size because the large size was sold out, and it was perfect for trying it out for the first time.
What I expected: As a "Dry" texturizing spray, I expected my hair to go from greasy and flat on my second day of no-wash to full, texturized hair, with oil on the roots gone.
What I got: A spray, that, no matter how much I spray into my hair, my hair looks EXACTLY the same, if not slightly greasier at the roots. What's more, there was supposed to be a smell? It's odorless. I'm not a dumb and vain emperor. Don't try to sell me nothing.
"But she's not wearing anything at all!"
