Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

Like a sturdy roll of duct tape, this multitasking spray is the ultimate quick-fix product. Part dry shampoo, part texturizer, its unique formula soaks up oils in grimy hair, and gives your flattened, blown-out coif an instant dose of altitude. Waking up late never felt so serene. Patented polymers absorb oil to give hair a rough-and-tumble texture, while adding a bit of hold to keep things in place——all without the powdery residue that some dry shampoos leave behind.

Curly girls, take heed

My hair: Thick, wavy, dry. This product: Good for texturizing, degreasing, volumizing. Don't need any of that. My younger daughter, who has straight hair, liked it more, and the smell is nice, so mileage varies.

interesting product

not sure exactly what a texturizing spray is supposed to do, but it made my hair feel a bit dirty and clumpy. I have thick hair so I don't think a "texturizing spray" is a product meant for me, but might be good for others.

Not effective enough

I don't have terribly thick hair and this product gave me a little volume but by the time I was done styling my hair the volume was gone. I would not recommend this product.

just didn't do much for me or my hair

I love dry shampoos and texture sprays; so i was excited about this one's potential to do both. Unfortunately, I found it didn't really do either. The package suggests it as an alternative to dry shampoo, but is not effective as a dry shampoo at all. The texture it adds is lacking pretty greatly. Not a terrible product, but just didn't do much for me.

Not my kinda hair product

I've never used a texturizing spray before and its not really for me. I'm sure many other people loved this but to me it just makes my hair feel and smell gross.

Not impressed

I don't like the way my hair feels after using this. It gets wet and sticky, and feels greasy. The smell was alright. I like the AmikA one way better.

Not for me

Resembles a hair spray more than a dry shampoo. Adds a good amount of volume to hair. Terrible product for me as the last thing my thick curly hair is volume

nope

This really didn't work out for me. After spraying on it took for ever to dry and gave me flakes. Smelled great but you really have to have a lot of time to work w/ this stuff. Not a spray and go product

Purpose?

I love dry shampoo. It adds volume, and de-greases my hair on the in-between wash days. This didn't really do anything, except add an extra layer of gunk to my hair.

Nice scent, bad texture

I'm not really sure how to use this product. I sprayed it in my hair thinking it could act like a dry shampoo or have an effect on volume...but this product left my hair feeling flaky. I love the smell of this product, but its utility is lacking.
