The product that has had the most radical (positive) effect on our beauty regimen isn’t a miracle cream or a long-wearing lipstick. It’s a piece of super soft elastic. Twistbands are a permanent fixture in the Birchbox office—on staffers’ wrists, in their ponytails, and even decorating their water bottles. We’re fans because they keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. (And because they’re cute, of course.) This exclusive set includes 15 of our favorites, from lace to neon varieties, plus three holiday-appropriate headbands.
these are great. never break my hair, never snag it. also does not leave those anoying lines in the hair. true love5
After getting a sample Twistband in one of my monthly Birchboxes, I fell in love with them. Now I think I must have just about every color available. I keep spares everywhere so I am never without one, in my desk, on the gearshift lever in my car, in one of my kitchen drawers and always, always one on my wrist. I have had so many people ask me about them. I've even given some away with gifts, everyone is always happy to get them. Such a smart, stylish idea.5
This is really a nice variety of twistbands. I like having a choice or colors and sizes.4
These were gifted to me after i recieved one in my monthly birchbox and loved it. They're cute and comfortable. I like that they're easy to take out and they don't get all tangled in my hair. The pretty designs are also a plus!5
I love these vibrant colors. I purchased for my teenage daughter and gave a few away to friends who fell in love with them. The sampler box allowed my daughter to experiment with the different sizes of the Twistbands. Her favorite are the thicker 'pony tail' size. I would recommend this sample box to anyone that pulls their hair up!5
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this set!!! It is the perfect sampler to try all of the different sizes. It is such a good selection of colors and types. I was worried that it would have all the colors that no one wanted but it had beautiful brights and metallics along with regular solids. I would suggest this to anyone who is interested in trying all of the different sized.5
I received a teal headband in my March birchbox. It looked cute and felt comfortable at first. After a while of wearing, i noticed the headband was squeezing my head and gave me a little headache. I now wear it when washing my face at night.4
I was excited to try twistbands - I've seen them at various boutiques and heard from others how awesome they are. I was not disappointed with this sample set made especially for Birchbox!! The colors and patterns are so cute and I love how they don't pull at my hair (other bands which do sometimes cause headaches for me). The only downside for me was the three holiday headbands - they are SUPER cute, but I have fine, thin hair and they simply slipped right through my hair, no matter how many different times I tried to wear them. One the flip side of this, my best friend will be very pleased with her new headbands!! :) A great buy - I will definitely get more in other colors.4
My fiance tried it out. We got a silver one in her March Box. She says it looks basic and cheap at first glimpse but actually works fairly well. Craftsmanship is moderate, the ends have an abrupt cut which leads to her questioning whether or not this is something she can make on her own. Overall not bad she said.3
OK, they're a bit pricey for hair ties, but they get noticed as "cool" and do the job without harming your hair. Did I say versatile? I gave some to a friend, and the next time I saw her she was wearing her twistband as a bracelet!5
