We know, we know: It’s a total cliché to say a beauty product smells good enough to eat. But with this body butter's variety of dessert-worthy scents, we really can’t help ourselves. Thanks to 30 percent shea butter content, this anything-but-ordinary moisturizer soothes skin but doesn’t leave a filmy layer of residue behind. And it even helps relieve rashes, dry skin, eczema and psoriasis.
I recieved a sample of the banana whipped body creme. Unfortunately I am not a fan of the fake banana scent. I found it quite overpowering. Perhaps its also because I'm not a fan of bananas in the first place. I might try it in another scent tho. I gave my sample to my boyfriend and surprisingly he likes and is using it.3
The cream was extremely moisturizing to my chronic dry skin, but the smell was a little too strong (I LOVE bananas, but I don't want to smell that strongly of one). After a while I got really tired of the scent.3
I love the banana smell. I was a little unsure at first because I thought the strong banana scent may clash with my preferred fragrances. I felt like the strong smell faded pretty fast and it left just enough for me to smell but not for everyone around me to smell. The reason I am still on the fence is the thickness of this cream. It is very buttery thick. My skin just didn't want to absorb it. For me, I think this will be best used at night as a super moisturizing hand or foot cream under some socks or gloves.3
The texture isn't bad, on the thicker side. However, the smell reminds me of taffy, not lotion. I don't want to smell like banana candy.3
The texture is lovely, and it really does feel luxurious on the skin. I'm reticent to use it all over, however, because it does smell quite strongly of bananas. If you use the product, it will become your scent, masking everything else. It's odd -- not exactly off-putting -- but not for me.3
I was so excited for this product until I received it. I was hoping for any other scent other than the banana one and unfortunately that is the one I received. With that being said I will be giving this sample to someone else without being able to try it out.
It did look like a high quality cream though it seems to have a thick butter whippedness to it. I wish I could have tried it but sadly I can not look past the banana scent.
I love the texture of this product (thick, creamy) and the fact that it is made with natural and organic ingredients. However, I really don't like the smell! It smells just like banana laffy taffy. So unless you love the smell of bananas, I wouldn't recommend this specific product.3
Just got my box, and tried this. It smells amazing! Just not sure about the texture. It literally feels like butter...3
This shea butter body cream had a nice feel to it. It wasn't greasy like some can tend to be. However, I did not feel that it had a lasting moisturizing effect. I also did not care for the banana scent.3
This stuff smells exactly like Circus Peanuts (the candy)! For me, that's a good thing. My boyfriend was kind of like "Ugh!" The consistency of the creme is awesome--super smooth and soft. However, I put it on about an hour ago, and my hands are back to being dry.3
