This all-natural face wash and mask combines real African black soap—made from the ashes of plaintain and cocoa pods and prized by women around the world for its abilities to battle blemishes and the signs of skin aging—with rejuvenating South African rose hips oil to leave your face clean and refreshed. The formula is 100 percent natural, fragrance free, and gentle enough for those with sensitive skin.
This leaves my skin feeling soo soft! It really gets rid of the dead skin on my face and I look glowing. I was hesitant at first because I have very sensitive skin but I was pleasantly surprised.5
Was excited to try this when I received it as a sample. I'm always looking for exfoliating products, but this one stung - a lot. Won't be purchasing.2
I really wanted to like this soap because of all the good reviews.... but it smelled really really bad to me. The color of this soap is dark dark brown and that also grossed me out. After following the instructions and letting it sit on my face, then rubbing it in and then rinsing off - it felt like my skin was still slimy and I couldn't rinse it off well enough. I used about half the bottle before I just couldn't stand it anymore and threw the rest away. I could deal with the other stuff, my skin seemed clean even though it still felt a little slimy but I couldn't handle the smell.2
I do not like the consistency of this product. It is so loose and watery, it is difficult to apply to face without spilling all over. That being said, once used, the results are great. Leaves skin feeling clean and soft.4
I'm really not sure what to think of this soap. Well, it's not really a soap. You spread it on to your face and then after 5-10minutes you rub it off in a circular motion. I do think it removes dead skin - I had been at the beach two weeks before trying and it removed almost any semblance of a tan I had left on my face, like to the point my face was lighter than the rest of my body. So, if you are going for a super-exfoliator, this is for you, but, I'm not going to lie, I'm still bitter about my gone tan.3
This cleanser is great if you have impurities or need a deep pore cleanse. Just lather a small amount of cleanser onto your face and leave rest for 2 to 10 minutes depending on the level of cleansing you require. Rinse and apply moisturizer. This cleanser is working miracles on my teenager's face. It's a bit too harsh for my skin though.5
I have been using this for 2 days and I would like to give it a few weeks before I can say if it is working. I am not breaking out from using it so that's a good thing. I wish the bottle wasn't glass.4
no product has ever cleaned my pores as deeply as this cleanser. It works wonders. I only use it a few times a week (not 2x a day as recommended) and it still does better than any peel or exfoliant or cleanser or mask. I found this product through the website Beauty Sage, where they had a lot of great reviews. Try it!5
Love this product. Nice fresh clean without clogging. I'm addicted to black soap and this is the best one yet. Although, let's set the record straight west Africans have been using "ose dudu" for centuries5
I'm not one to use many products to actually cleanse my face but this one was great. Once I got past the color I could really feel how amazingly refreshing it was with out leaving any dry feeling.4
