Like a modern-day gent, this unique styling wax is an adaptable kind of dapper. Featuring a water-based formula and a beeswax base, it tames unruly strands and adds a bit of texture while remaining soft and pliable. A subtle matte finish keeps your ’do looking natural, but not unkempt—unless, of course, you want it to.
I have really fine hair and this stuff holds firm and doesn't bog down during the day. its a fine line between too much and looking oily and just the right amount to look natural, but I like how it performs. I use it when my hair is completely dry5
This product does exactly as advertised. Great for all hair types. This would get 5 stars but the price is a little high.4
he is very picky on his hair products and what he uses. he loved this it gace him the fresh out of the shower look with out looking like an outsider! he has thick dark (native american) hair... so good purchase on my part!5
This is a product called clay that touts a strong hold. My hair was flat in an hour and looked less like it had clay in it and more like George Michael's hair in the Faith video. It smells like cherry chapstick, so that was a plus. Overall: medium hold at best and not the dirty look I'd hoped for with a product called clay.3
Clay is the best hair product. I loved this one. It makes your hair manageable without being sticky. Great product5
I was looking to replace my beeswax. I don't need to look any further. The hold lasts all day with a little dab. The small isn't too powerful. It washes out easily. I do need to have dry hair for it took work properly though.5
I keep my hair pretty short on the sides but like to flip up the front. Prior to Mr. Natty, I used three different products after every shower in order to get the style I sought. Needless to say the process was exhausting and after discovering this product and sifting through reviews, I am finally down to one hair product. For anyone with thick hair, the clay will hold your hair up while still leaving it soft and touchable. The smell is incredible, to boot.4
This did exactly what I had hoped. It keeps everything in place all day and doesn't feel like glue in the process. It has a subtle, nice scent that fades quickly into the background. I found that it was easy to wash out. I highly recommend.5
Will definitely be purchasing again.
My hair is med-thick and generally hard to control. I prefer hair products that don't leave any shine, as shiny hair products tend to leave me looking to 'glossed' up . This product is excellent for a more matted, lived-in look and it doesn't take much to style my entire head. I am still on my first tin and it's been over 8 months ! granted, i probably use this only every other day on average, but that's still a lot of run for the money. I would venture to say there's still about 2 months worth of product left - so 10 months total from 1 tin !
In terms of hold, it's excellent. A very strong and pliable hold that can be re-styled after being windblown or wearing a hat. It definitely keeps things in place and a little goes a long way so be careful not to use too much of it.
On top of being a solid product, another plus is the smell. Best I can describe it is 'Industrial meets the Bahamas'. Hints of petroleum mixed with coconut. A very unique, masculine, non-offensive scent that isn't overpowering but is definitely aromatic when in close proximity. It's definitely good for a mens hair product scent in my opinion.
I like using this right after a shower when my hair is damp. I like to spike up my hair, and I don't like it all crunchy like some alcohol based gels do it up. You only need a little bit, like drop a dime on your head; maybe a nickel. This will hold for a couple days, too, giving you the total Ralph Lauren look. Clay also soaks up oil if you are prone to that... In the end, this is my go to product.5
