Slapping on one of these masks will do wonders for cracked lips in need of some love. A moisturizing formula restores them to a soft, supple state, so they not only appear fuller, but they're better prepped for color too.
This mask is a good idea in theory, but in practice, it is awkward to use. It was very difficult to keep on, as it is a large silicone lip shape. I have pretty big lips and this was a bit too big for my lips. Maybe if the material was thinner and more papery it would work better. Don't waste your money!
1I agree with other reviewers: this is not a perfect mask. It’s a clear silicone piece with little mask-y feel to it. I would have liked it to have been “juicier,” with enough product left afterwards to pat into my lips. Other reviewers have stated that their lips didn’t seem any plumper after using this. For me, that’s a huge plus since any temporary “plumpness” is swelling caused by irritating ingredients which are causing damage to your skin. Every other lip mask I’ve tried, I’ve had to remove after just a minute or two, because they went from a little tingle to downright painful very quickly. That didn’t happen with this lip mask. I couldn’t detect any cherry flavor or scent, which is a plus for me, but I understand that it’s important for other people.
Bottom line, I’m on the fence about this one. Don’t know if I will buy one or not. (I got one in the Mask Matchmaker kit 2.0.) I might get it as a GWP or maybe use some points for one sometime.
Whoa! I was not prepared for the size of this deal. Full disclosure: I have a very tiny mouth (ask my dentist). The inside packaging was bigger than my iPhone. My lips felt noticeably dryer after the treatment. It did make me laugh...and everyone I sent my selfie to got a kick out it.
