We loved actress Alicia Silverstone the moment we saw her in The Crush, but we’ve grown to admire her even more as an eco-health guru. Together with Juice Beauty, Silverstone created this versatile all-over highlighter, which is made with organic shea butter and other all-natural, yummy ingredients. The peachy pink shade enlivens all complexions.
I've used this twice since I bought it a couple of months ago. I can see it right as I'm applying it, but as soon I blend it, it disappears. Probably wrong for my skin tone, but it's supposed to "enliven all complexions." I just don't notice any difference.2
I bought the full size lipstick and facial highlighter last month because I loved the idea of the all-natural and organic ingredients. While I love the lipstick, the facial highlighter leaves a little to be desired. It is a little sticky and just blah. I will continue to use it and just put a little blush on over it. The packaging is very nice.2
This product is alright. My skin coloring is light but it still doesn't show up too much. And also when applied it tends to rub some of my face makeup off. Doesn't give off too much of a shimmer either. It works for the time being but I do not believe that I would purchase this product again. It also smells a bit like play-dough which is odd.2
I really liked the idea of this product and the fact that it is Alicia Silverstone's and eco-friendly. The color looks pretty on the stick but is too light for my skin tone, which is actually fairly light so I was surprised. I still have to use my normal powder blush to get a subtle rosiness/glow. I was also hoping that it actually had some sort of shimmer to it that would highlight my brow bones, but it doesn't so the name was a bit misleading for me.
It also rubs my foundation and powder off when I put it on with fingers or apply directly because its sort of stiff and sticky(?) - like the feeling after you apply moisturizer to your hands and its kind of weird slick/sticky. Since I bought it I will continue to test it out occasionally, especially during other seasons when I can get away with less products or have less natural coloring from sun - maybe its a spring time thing.
Tried this and thought I would really love it but was just ok. Nothing to talk about really. Not bad but not great either. Try it for yourself and you decide. Maybe you will think differently.3
A little disappointing- doesn't apply smoothly hence pulling at skin. Also the color seems too washed out. Wouldn't buy this one again.3
The product looks gorgeous, until you put it on. I found that it was kinda gritty, very sparkly and super sticky. When trying to glide it across my cheekbones it actually got stuck. Its super sticky but it doesnt feel heavy which is good. The color isnt very pigmented but it looks very prettty on lighter skin tones.3
gives a nice glow without looking cakey on your face. Bringing on vacation with me to add a little pop - love the great packaging - so cute!4
I really like this highlighter. If you are expecting it to be blush, it isn't. It is much more subtle. But it is perfect for days when I don't feel like doing a full make up routine. This and a little eyeliner makes me feel and look perky and glowy, but minimal. The texture is a little strange at first (probably the shea butter makes it a little moist) but that sticky feel goes away quickly.4
It's very sheer and barely noticeable, but it's still wonderful. The color is gorgeous, the shimmer is not too much, and it doesn't feel sticky.5
