Back in the 90s, we had a massive girl crush on Alicia Silverstone—we couldn’t get enough of her big-screen roles or her small-screen stint in those Aerosmith videos. Nowadays, the actress-turned-wellness guru is winning us over yet again with her brand new beauty collection. Together with Juice Beauty, Silverstone dreamed up this lip color, which contains a host of moisturizing organic ingredients. We’re certain Clueless’s Cher Horowitz herself would covet the gorgeous pink hue.
This lipstick is a great moisturizer and I love the consistency and texture. I really wasn't happy with color, though. I was hoping for pretty pink that was pictured (which would be the perfect color for me), but the actual color is a bit different. It's more of a light mauve color that doesn't look the best on me. It might be better this summer when my skin is a little darker, though. We'll see!2
The lipstick feels great, but the color is nothing like the picture online. It is almost like a pale coral color on my skin and looks horrible. I wish it was the pretty pink in the picture because with the way it feels, if it was a color that worked for me I would use it as more than just a chapstick replacement before bed...2
I had such high expectations for this lip color, the color on the product page is such a gorgeous kind of dark pink. And the description says to achieve a deeper color just add another layer. Well, I already have a fair amount of pink color to my lips, so I guess that may have made a difference with this color. But when I first put this lip color on it actually seemed to make my lips paler, almost chalky looking. So, as directed, I added another layer, it didn't feel very moisturizing anyway, so I felt like I needed to, but it did not change the color. I am thinking of sending this one back, which is a first for me.2
I thought it was grainy. Ended up passing it to a friend that loved it. Really just personal preference.3
I purchased this thinking I would be getting a pink color but instead received a nude lipstick. In the tube it is a very nice nude, so I decided to keep it. However, on my fair skin it does not appear as it did in the packaging. I will not repurchase this item due to the color. BUT the texture is lovely and if this color matches you (and not washes you out like it does me) it's definitely a nice quality product. Also my lipstick fell out of the cardboard packaging, which makes it difficult to use and why it received 3 stars.3
The lipstick Alone would be five stars. The rich creamy texture is awesome. It's not thick but perfect creamy. It feels very moisturizing. The picture of the lipstick is super deceiving. The true color is a very nice nude. Not much different than my natural lip color. I still would have bought that lipstick from picture. I was expecting a brighter pink. This picture needs to change! It makes me question the other products from this brand. Again lipstick is great if you are expecting very light nude/ pink.3
I like the fact that this is super vegan and eco friendly and all of that stuff, but it's hard for me to open and wind up and down. The color is nice, but actually not really good for my skin tone. Too bad! It's not the easiest to use when compared to other lipsticks but I guess I can sacrifice convenience in regards to being politically correct.3
I was disappointed with this. I thought it would be as pictured, but it's more of a light nude pink. Nice formula, but the picture shows a blue undertoned, mid toned pink, which is what I wanted.3
Everytime I want to go all natural and get on that kick, I am disappointed by the product representation. This was a bit a of a surprise for me. It went on well, stayed on well and the color looked great on me!3
I love juice beauty skincare, but this was my first time trying their makeup. The shade was what I was looking for, but the consistency and smell put me off. Didn't seem to have any staying power, either. I guess that's why it's organic.3
