Gift someone special this subtle, summery eau de toilette from Motor City designer John Varvatos. It’s the cologne equivalent of your favorite jeans and a just-washed tee: classic, cool, and easy-going. Even the packaging—a flask wrapped in hand-woven rattan—exudes laid-back class.
This scent is very light and casual. If you prefer a strong manly/musky cologne on your guy, this one isn't right for you.2
I originally thought that maybe I could wear this too but its definitely too masculine. I like the smell though so I ended up giving it to my brother.3
Great product. If it was only stronger. I would totally buy the solid version. I can't think about anything else bad to say.4
John Varvatos makes me think of sexy british boys in skinny suits, and so does this fragrance. Unfortunately, my boyfriend is not much of a cologne wearer, but I'd recommend this for anyone who is!4
This product has a great scent. I gave it to my brother, and he seemed to like it as well.4
So, I completely love this scent!! Perfect example of something to go with that indicated casual day/evening, wearing jeans and a comfy tee. Maybe add a crisp pewter glass of mint julep on a spring evening!4
I gave this as a gift to one of my guy friends when I received it in my Birchbox and he loved it!4
I was unaware that this is (apparently?) a men's fragrance, which is funny because I LOVED it as was really sad and confused when it came up missing from my sample drawer. Apparently my husband was aware that this was a men's fragrance and loved it as much as I did... So now it is on his Christmas list.5
This is absolutely my new favorite scent. It works really well with my body chemistry and lasted a lot longer than the cheap-o perfumes you might buy at a drug store. I will definitely be buying the larger bottle.5
This wasn't a fragrance I was too fond of. I shared it with my husband, but he doesn't really wear cologne very often. The fragrance wasn't gross or too strong, just not a combination of scents that appealed to me.2
