While we don’t promote sun worshipping—premature aging! Increased risk of skin cancer!—we do wholeheartedly support getting enough vitamin D. The vitamin is especially essential for your complexion; it’s responsible for replenishing your skin’s hydration, boosting elasticity, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, and correcting sun damage and dark spots. Thankfully, Masqueology’s Advance 7D Solution delivers a satisfying dose of the vitamin in the form of its ultra-lightweight moisturizer. We love how the formula sinks in immediately and the handy syringe-like applicator makes targeting stubborn fine lines a breeze.
On my sample, the "syringe" cap couldn't possibly pierce the tip of the barrel, and I was reluctant to risk contaminating the product (and making a mess) by using my Dremel. After sufficient struggle, the product eventually oozed past the plunger, obviating the poor "individual measurement dispenser" concept.
Even if this design had worked properly, a syringe isn't airtight, and if product is visible through the barrel then light is getting to the contents. Both light and oxygen destabilize antioxidants, diminishing effectiveness. ("Cosmetic Cop" Paula Begoun would have a field day with this idiocy.) Anyway, somebody already invented tubes with screw-on caps.
The obvious resemblance to a medical device hints at product safety and efficacy, but documented evidence would be more to the point. Why doesn't Masqueology show us its testing results instead?
I really like this cream but I feel it is a little overpriced considering the amount you get. I would consider purchasing it if the price was lower or the amount was increased. I did love the packaging!4
I love this cream! So much so that I don't want to miss a drop, so how frustrating trying to open it, only to have a quarter of it squirt out the back of the syringe.
Now, I understand the syringe - at this price I want to be sure to get every bit out of the container, but I want do-overs with my test syringe!
The only problem with this product is its pricey, I will have to wait for a special to buy a second time. But... This product works! I had a patch of age spots on my face, and it really lightened them up. I LOVE the syringes. It's easy to see how much you are using. I also use one syringe about every 9-10 days. Use sparingly, it really works!5
I could not puncture a hole in the tip, so as I attempted to open the product it started oozing from the other end.1
I loved this product, and the packaging. Having it in the syringe was a fun way to apply the cream.
It was such a mess and hard to use due to the syringe! Maybe I recieved a faulty one, but I could not get the lotion thru the syringe and it all squirted out the sides! And, yes, I did follow the directions of piercing the tip. On the good side, the lotion was nice, but not worth me purchasing. Did not stand out to me.2
I received this in a birchbox as was really impressed with it. I actually enjoyed the packaging - it allows you to carefully dispense how much product you want without waste, and ensures you get every last drop when you run out. I appreciated that the sample size was large enough to determine its effectiveness, and will definitely be purchasing this in the future.4
I loved this product. My skin felt refreshed and soft after putting it on! Will definitely be buying this product.5
Sorry, but I would not buy this product. There was really no noticeable difference in my skin after using this. Plus, I did not like the syringe.1
