The best way to get your daily dose of vitamin D isn’t through soaking up the sun or chugging a glass of milk. Instead, turn to this advanced skin-repairing moisturizer. Developed by a team of Korean dermatologists, it triggers skin’s natural vitamin D production without any downsides (lactose intolerance, anyone?) to keep your complexion healthy. Unlike the sun, it reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, rather than accelerating their development—who can ask for more?
Maybe I'm just so used to using ridiculously heavy creams on my super dry skin, but I didn't think this was as thick as everyone else did. For a cream, it's definitely on the light side. It went on super smooth and the small sample they provided was definitely enough to cover my face. But that's where my real gripe comes in. With something like a moisturizer I'd venture to say most women want to be able to test it out more than once before they commit, especially when it's as pricey as this one is. A bigger sample or a few smaller ones would have been much better. This moisturizer might be amazing, but it's going to be hard to tell after only one use. I highly doubt I'd buy the full size for that reason alone.3
I am very much a moisturizer snob. I'm always in search of a better one. I first learned of this via the 'test-tube'-looking dispensers. I loved them so much that I ordered this larger jar. It is smooth, creamy, glides on really fast and there's no effort to rub it in or spread it out on your face or neck. It's very quenching to your skin. I will keep buying this one!!5
Wasn't a great moisturizer, overall I think this company seems to market their products as innovative & high-end, when in fact, they aren't very effective. As for the face cream in particular, they *claim* that theirs is a special formula with Vitamin D that is absorbed topically.however, unlike Vitamin A/retinol, which works wonders if applied topically, I'm pretty sure that D is one of many vitamins that show no significant evidence of doing ANYTHING to the skin if applied topically, and may not be effective at all if applied topically...If anyone has clinical research proving otherwise, I'd love to see it, but I'll stick with the "confirmed" sources of Vitamin D--a) sunlight, b) foods, c) oral supplements. In summation, I wouldn't spend my $$$ on this...I've spent $ on moisturizers costing both LESS and MORE than this one that work way better.1
not a fan.....its moisture content is not all its cracked up to be. I've used other products that create more moisture I have very dry skin and this just isn't cutting it. I have to use it with another moisturizer2
Maybe I'd see a bigger difference using this more often but it was a good moisturizer. Love the idea of getting more vitamin D through a moisturizer - kinda genius4
I only gave this two stars because I couldn't really get much of an effect given the sample size. I put it on my forehead since that's where my skin is most dry and lines did smooth some.3
I'm one of those sensitive skin types who's entire face turns red when I put on lotion. Not with this product. It smells great, is not greasy, and does the job without irritation. I'm buying this for sure. Thanks Birchbox!5
My skin didn't love this product. Overall was a bit drying, however may have been due to how small the sample was.3
The sample was too small to give an opinion. From the little that was there it felt OK, but couldn't say if it is effective.3
I love the small amount of this cream that I was able to try, but I just can't tell if I love it enough to shell out the money... As other reviewers have noted, the sample was too small to get a complete feel for the product. It seemed really promising, but the full-size product is too expensive to buy without being able to use for at least a few days in a row.
Send me a bigger sample in a future box and I promise if I like it as much as I think I will, I'll buy the big one!
