We find this tricolored hair oil more mesmerizing than all the cat videos we’ve ever watched on YouTube. When you shake the bottle, the layers of amber, clear, and red oils combine to form a potent elixir for all kinds of hair woes, from heat damage and dryness to dullness and frizz. It only takes a drop to smooth down flyaways and give an instant shine boost to hair, and long-term use will heal and protect hair from further damage.
I used this oil once before I blow dried my hair and another time after I completed styling my hair. I did not notice any difference to the quality, appearance, stylability or smoothness of my hair. As I received this product as a sample in the April Birchbox, I will continue to experiment with the remaining product.3
This oil looks to be a very cool idea - shake it and blend it. However, you must use a very small amount, or it will appear oily. It smells nice. For the price, I'd rather use other similar products.3
this product was pretty good. I dont usually like products like this for my hair because it just makes it oily. This product was ok3
Lots of reviewers said this made their hair oily, so I was sure to only use it on the ends/middle of my hair! It didn't make it oily, and I have naturally oily hair, so that's good. However, I do think it made my hair pretty flat, with less volume than usual. Also, I thought it would smell really good, and I don't really like how it smells, which is a bummer.3
I made sure to only use a drop or two of the oil on the ends of my hair, not hear the roots since a lot of people complained about it making their hair oily! It didn't make mine oily (and I have oily hair!) but I feel like it did make it a little flat, which is a bummer. I am going to keep using it though to see if it make it healthier! Also, the smell isn't great.3
I really like the product itself but with fine hair I had to go easy or be greasy. I have long color-treated hair - blonde highlights over my own light brown base so the oil was good to tame and shine the dryer blonde flyaways but application is key to keep from looking like your hair is dirty. Shake this product well and only use a dime-size amount at best. This is more than enough for long hair. I rub it in my hands and start applying from the ends so the majority of the oil gets on the driest hair and working my way up staying away from the roots. Doing it this way saves the roots from ever getting oily and you'll have smooth, shiny nice smelling hair with only a little restraint of hand.3
I liked this product as i've never used a hair oil before but it made my hair greasy and I'm not sure if i used to much of it or not. It did make styling my hair really easy which is great!3
My hair looked good (I even got a compliment) but I felt like my hair was greasy. Maybe it was just that I haven't gotten the hang of the usage amount. I'll try it again but I won't be buying it unless I tackle the grease.3
I wanted to like this product! I love the idea of it, and was willing to give it a try, but it weighed my hair down and felt slighlty "greasy" at the end of the day. It works okay for overnight conditioning as long as you can wash it out well in the morning.3
At first I thought, wow, this is a really small sample for a hair oil. But a little goes a long way! One drop, and my hair feels and looks healthier than without it. It has a really nice citrus scent which in my opinion smells nicer in the bottle, but is still nicely scented overall. It left my hands a little greasy after applying but after 15 minutes, the grease was gone. Not bad at all!3
