We find this tricolored hair oil more mesmerizing than all the cat videos we’ve ever watched on YouTube. When you shake the bottle, the layers of amber, clear, and red oils combine to form a potent elixir for all kinds of hair woes, from heat damage and dryness to dullness and frizz. It only takes a drop to smooth down flyaways and give an instant shine boost to hair, and long-term use will heal and protect hair from further damage.
I like the smell and texture of the product, but it left my hair feeling a little oily and greasy. I tried using a lot less but I still don't like the way it makes my hair look afterwards.3
Be VERY careful to only use a TINY bit of this. I used a little more than a pea-sized drop on my hair when wet and after blow drying my hair looked extremely oily. I had to apply dry Ojon dry shampoo spray over it to get rid of some of the oil. It's probably very good for people with dry, frizzy hair but use with caution if you have straight, normal hair. I wouldn't recommend every putting this on dry hair.3
I like what the product did for my hair and the oil did not leave a greasy residue on my hand or my hair but it just didn't smell very good. It was a light smell so I don't think other people noticed but I won't be using it anytime soon.3
I would not say this is amazing. It is okay, but I have used better hair oils than this one. I may work for hair that is less curly than mine, and less porous. But overall, the product is okay, but not great.3
It wasn't bad but didn't do anything out of the ordinary or better than any other hair oils I've used. The packaging for the sample was awful bc you had to close the tube after you poured it into your hand and oil was dripping everywhere. It was fine but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it over something else.3
I thought this was good, but not necessarily the best. I thought it made my hair look a little greasy. Make sure you only use a little.3
Generally, I don't have problems with oil, and not usually frizz. I tried using this product in the winter because I don't want to damage my hair during styling. The oil control was fine (and worked on the frizz) except for around my scalp. I personally thought my hair looked greasy, although my girlfriends claim they didn't notice.3
I agree with the other reviewers they mentioned that it was quite hard to control the amount of product that comes out because of the nature of the sample packaging. Often times I made the mistake of pouring out too much and putting it all on my hair - it weighed my hair down and made it look oily. It has a very heavy consistency and you literally only need a few drops to distribute throughout your hair. I did not see a significant difference in shine, but I feel like it was a good product for nourishing the ends of my hair.3
Overall the product is great but I was a little too oily for my hair texture.3
The sample was extremely small (it came in a small perfume sample container). Although only a tiny dime sized drop is needed per use (at least for my hair and I have long hair) it would have probably lasted me a good 5-8 uses but it spilled due to horrible packaging and clumsiness on my part. The time I was able to use it, I did notice my hair to be softer and shinier.3
