We find this tricolored hair oil more mesmerizing than all the cat videos we’ve ever watched on YouTube. When you shake the bottle, the layers of amber, clear, and red oils combine to form a potent elixir for all kinds of hair woes, from heat damage and dryness to dullness and frizz. It only takes a drop to smooth down flyaways and give an instant shine boost to hair, and long-term use will heal and protect hair from further damage.
Good smell to it... Good texture/consistency ... Gets the job done.5
this sample was in effective for me. I have very very thick and course hair. as well as colored frequent. no results. no difference.1
I like the smell of it and the final result is good. The negative for me is my hair is very thick and is hard to brush out after a shower I felt like my hair was even harder to brush out with this product in it. I think I'll stick with what I already use.3
So, I am torn. I loved this product - you should only put a very very small amount in your palm, as the instructions say. I got 3-4 uses out of the sample bottle, and I have long, thick hair to the middle of my back (boob-line). I put a two-ish drops on my palm, rubbed my hands together, and applied towards the ends of my hair before blow-drying. My hair looked fantastic - slightly wavy, soft, hydrated. I didn't do anything else besides blowdry. My hair is naturally pretty good after blow-drying but can look dry afterwards. This took care of that.
My main issue with this product, besides the high price, is that it doesn't look like it comes with a dropper. It says to "pour one drop" into my palm. I could see this being a disaster, and a waste of product. Why wouldn't they just include a dropper in the lid, so I can more effectively get the prescribed "one drop" out? If they change the packaging of the product to include this, I will be far more likely to buy it. I actually use another, far less expensive oil that I bought off Amazon and it works as well. It doesn't have the great scent of this product though.
My hair is not extremely dry so I don't use a lot of hair oils. However I did find this one was nice, worked well, and had a good smell. Not my favorite one I've gotten from Birchbox though.3
I really liked this product but it is a bit pricey to purchase5
This hair oil made my neck break out in horrible acne. Maybe I am allergic, or perhaps it contains an irritant? Either way, I will never try it again.1
It says to use only one drop of product but that did not do anything at all for my hair. When I used about 8 drops it did help make my hair shiny but I still did not think it was worth the price3
It's a great brand but when I tried this sample, it wasn't easy to get all over your hair, i felt like it stuck in one spot.... and made that spot look greasy. I'll stick with what I currently use.2
I have long (bottom of shoulder blades) thick, frizzy, wavy hair. I also have bleached the underside of my hair. The hair oil worked pretty well on the ends of my hair and the bleached part, but it was too heavy for the rest of my hair.4
