Like a (makeup-wearing) moth to a flame, we’re completely drawn to this trial-size trio of stila's luxe complexion finisher. Each blends seamlessly into skin—and unlike some other shimmer powders and creams, the liquid formula won’t cake, clog, or budge. Plus, the easy-to-use brush allows for precise, goof-proof application.
This is fun to use but I don't notice a big difference. I mixed it in with my foundation and it came out pretty much like it always does. I think it would be better if input it on top of my foundation. Like having the sample for something new to try.3
It was fun to try this product. I've never used a liquid shimmer product before. I think the product is really good, but I have oily skin and with the shimmer, it was just too much. If you don't have oily skin, it would be really great!3
I thought this product was only okay compared to benefit illuminizer3
I like the liquid luminizer set but it just does not give me the look i was going for. i really wanted even more shimmer but it seemed to diminish throughout the day3
I received the lightest shade in my box, and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I tried placing it around my eyes/top cheekbones but it wasn't very noticeable, and it is too light to go on my collarbone without looking funny. I have yet to try mixing it with my foundation so maybe that will give me more options.
It is shimmery, but it seems like you need to apply more than the small brush allows. This particular shade is not very noticeable but would probably be better for someone with pink skin undertones (mine are yellow).
it seems hard to spread around so go easy when you apply3
It seems like a good product but Birchbox sent a terrible color for me3
Unfortunately, I'm not really sure how to use this product, even after seeing numerous videos and reading tutorials. I've been blessed with really clear skin, and so I rarely use foundation: the process of contouring is lost on me. I actually saw this and thought it was lipgloss until I read the card that came in the box. I tried it out (read-had my friend put it on me) and I liked it! I thought the pink would be too light for my medium skin, but the background of it virtually melds into my skin, leaving only the faint sparkle. It isn't gooey or heavy, and my skin didn't react to it (but I don't break out easily), and it didn't smell. Since I don't use luminizer, I probably wouldn't buy this on my own, but I have no objections to it.3
This highligh was okay, it was a nice size to travel with, but I didn't think it showed up very well. Because its a liquid you have to blend it in, and then it didn't show up very much. I have other Highlighs that I prefer much more.3
I was disappointed to see that when I got my sample of the shimmer liquid, it had come unscrewed and may have been partially dried out because of that. It's not bad as a highligher/shimmer product goes, but it doesn't seem to last long and it has more of the glitter quality and less of the subtle shimmer or glow that I usually look for in a product like this.3
