Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
I put this on my face after my shower (Sat.) and woke up (Sun.) with a bright red rash all over my face. I took several doses of benadryl-did nothing; put aloe with lidocaine on it-helped with the burning, but did't reduce the redness; and cortisone cream. I finally woke up the next day (Mon.) and my face wasn't a tomato. It's still rough, like it was chemically burned. I hope I never have another reaction like this or I'm canceling Birchbox. It was terrible.1
The sample provided was too small for me to make an informed decision as to the effectiveness over a long enough period of time.1
Granted, I'm sensitive to smells, but this sample smelled so strongly I ended up throwing it away after trying to use it twice. Not sure how to describe the smell, but it was not pleasant!1
I got a sample of this in another subscription box, and it is the worst smelling product ever. I get that they are supposed to be an all natural company, but that doesn't mean that your products have to smell like you just smeared a salad all over your face! WAY too much of a plant smell. I can't even attest to how well it works on skin because I couldn't stand the smell long enough to find out.1
I use cc creams often and wasn't impressed by this product. I thought it was difficult to apply and it did not give a good coverage. I am not sure if the color was off . I found it a little thick too.1
I have been comparing this CC creme to the Garnier BB creme. I do believe that the Garnier for Normal to Oily skin is better. It is possible that there are long term effects that are great with the Juice CC cream but, I get so little coverage, so much shine and stickiness that there is no way I can wear it1
Only used three times before I completely broke out on my chin. Has a terrible smell. Is super oily and doesn't blend well. Much better choices out there. Skip this one.1
This is the first CC Cream I've ever tried - and I was very excited to try it!!! After the first use, I was disappointed. The product gave me no coverage, nor did it smooth out my skin color. It was also greasy, and didn't completely set - very dewy finish. I thought it was because my skin wasn't used to the CC cream, so I tried it again a couple more times... only to be more disappointed. The coverage didn't seem to get any better, and then the worst of it all: I started breaking out! As soon as I stopped using this product, my breakouts went away. This product and my skin just didn't agree with each other :(1
I did not like this at all. It was very greasy and made my skin look oily. It didn't provide any coverage at all. All it did was make my face look like a grease pit! Maybe it didn't work for me because I have oily skin. It just felt like I had straight sun block on my face! Yuck.1
The tip broke off of the tube, rendering half of the sample useless as it dried out. It was ok, but I'll stick with my much cheaper BB cream that is properly packaged.1
