Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
I could not get over the fact that the scent reminded me too much of those jalapano flavored chips, which are delicious, but it's not a scent I want on my face.1
I thought I was going to love this product but it just didn't work on my skin. He product felt heavy and didn't go on smoothly. I felt it was there and affected the way my makeup went on. This isn't something I will purchase.1
I have oily skin that is very uneven in color. This product didn't work for me because it didn't provide enough coverage, felt heavy/gritty, and smelled like dirty clay.1
I understand that Juice Beauty is an established, well- liked brand, and the ingredients in their CC cream are of high quality and effectiveness, but the smell is HORRENDOUS. I just couldn't get around it. I would eagerly try the product again if its odor was tamed down or eliminated, but it's too strong for me. I liked all other aspects of it (smoothing, moisturizing, complexion enhancing), but again, even when my boyfriend went to kiss me, he shrank back and said, "what stinks?" Ugh! But everyone is different...1
This CC Cream provides no coverage, smells weird, and has a greasy texture. Looks terrible.1
Definitely very cool toned, which was not great for me. Also HEAVILY fragranced (natural fragrances, but still). Not great for sensitive skin.1
Thus product felt incredibly oily on my skin and was unpleasant in smell and the way it felt. It was very thick. I will say it gave nice coverage, but my face looked so so shiny and oily. It looked like I had been sweating. I am not a fan.1
The smell of this product is terrible and it does pretty much nothing to my face. Overall bad product especially for the price1
When I received this this I was very excited because I love CC creams. In fact I use another brand daily and after looking up the price this is less expensive so I was hoping this would do the job. Let me make a list of the reason that I dislike this:
1) It smells bad!
2) You have to put it on damp skin. Which is inconvenient especially when your having to put on your makeup in steps (I.e. Chasing kids, answering the phone)
3. It doesn't offer the same amount of coverage that other CC creams offer
4. It melt off in the heat of the day. I live in Texas and we aren't even to the real heat of summer yet and it still melted off.
This CC cream had an unpleasantly thick, sticky texture. I tried it a couple times but would not use it again or purchase it. The description says the cream provides sheer coverage, but if felt like I was applying a thick sunblock meant for the body.1
