Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
This product worked nicely, and matched my skin tone well, but the smell was overwhelming and distracting.1
This sat on top of my skin, didn't moisturize, and didn't offer any coverage. It was very heavy and greasy, and had a distinct sunblock smell.1
I expected this product to have pretty decent coverage being that it was so thick but it didn't. Also the smell was horrible during application and for about an hour. The product is also not long lasting at all.1
I was excited to try the brand due to all of its good-for-you qualities. However, due to several factors, I will stick to another brand for my facial needs. First, the smell is rather pungent (albeit organic in origin) in an unfavorable way. Second, the consistency seems oily though it goes on smoothly. The odor fades, & it does apply evenly, yet I am disappointed the tint does not seem to show/last very well. Third, the sample was so small that I didn't see any change before running out so I'm not sure I believe in the "CC" claim.1
I've used BB cream for the last 3 months and was very excited to try the CC cream. Unfortunately, I found it to be a tad thicker than I like my "creams" to be and the shade made my skin appear orange-y. Also, the sample size was incredibly small!1
Okay, so the thing that creeped me out about this is that it smelled like pollen. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if you told me it was made of pollen. I am highly allergic to pollen. Even though I know intellectually that it is not pollen and it covers quite well when I've dared to use it (the consistency is good) but in my head I keep imagining that I'll look at my face and it will be all red & puffy. So this sample has stayed mostly un-used. I would use this & buy it if they reformulated the fragrance.1
I did not notice a difference in my face after using this product. Did not think the smell was as unpleasant as most of the reviews note, but it was a strong herb-like fruitloop smell.1
I loved the way this smelled and how easily it went on. However, I have really oily skin and after about an hour it felt like it was just melting off.1
didnt really care for the smell of the product, but the coverage was good.1
Too expensive for the size of the product and effectiveness. I notice a slight difference but nothing too noticeable.1
