Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
In my makeup routine I enjoy BB creams and medium coverage foundation. Unfortunately this CC cream did not meet my expectations. This CC creme has a rather light coverage, barely enough to even out my light reddish skin tone. On application, it has a strong plant smell. This product did not set, it left a sticky film on the skin. Even it set with powder I found this CC cream to crease a lot, especially if applied in the under eye area. On the more positive side, this cream this did irritate my rather sensitive skin and is very easy to blend even using only fingers. The consistency is thick but it behaves on the skin like a heavy moisturizer. I will not purchase this product.1
There's no way around it. This stuff stinks! Literally...it smells bad. It doesn't cover well and us super oily. It actually ended up smudging into my eyes which has never happened to me before. I'd steer clear!1
This is the the worst BB cream I have tried. It smells absolutely terrible. The coverage was also nothing special, so I would much rather use one without an unpleasant odor.1
When I tried the sample I loved it. So I ordered the full size and deeply regretted it. Finally a tinted moisturizer with SPF that won't clog my pores and make me look greasy, and is full of all kinds of good stuff, right? Nope. This made my skin so incredibly greasy and gave virtually no coverage. I might as well wear an oil based sunscreen and nothing else.1
This product smelled so terrible I had to take it off my face. Seriously couldn't even stand the smell and the coverage wasn't very good either. Definitely a miss for me1
I did not like this product at all. The "fruity" scent is not fruity and it's super strong. It actually gave me the sniffles every time I wore it. It is also not "light." I don't even have oily skin, but living in a humid city the last thing I want in a product is something that makes me feel oily. My face felt (and looked) greasy all day. I had the small sample size and used the whole thing.1
I was excited to try this but the smell was just awful when I put it on. Then my make up brush smelled for a week! This product also didn't offer enough coverage for me. I just didn't enjoy this product.1
The smell kept me from using the product. Way too earthy. Smells can be too overpowering, this one just wasn't worth it to have on my face.1
This really did nothing for me. It's a shame because it is thick. It did moisturize. It soaked in really fast but it did not add any color or brightness.1
I'm not sure why this is described as having a "light, fruity scent". To me, it smelled more clay, dirt-like. If the product worked well maybe I could get past the scent, but I wasn't a fan.1
