Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
I'll admit I don't have a lot of experience with CC creams, but the texture of this was awful. I had moisturized my face prior to use, and this was literally like trying to apply glue to my face. It wouldn't blend and was really, really sticky. I will probably throw out my sample.2
This product gave me high expectations. Moisturizes, primes, protects, conceals, and provide sheer coverage? Sign me up! However, the moment I applied it I noticed how terrible it smelled and how greasy it felt. It felt very much like an SPF, which if its primary purpose is to protect I would be more forgiving. But as far as all of the other promises I found this product lacking.2
It's super thick, gives okay coverage but I hated the smell of it. It doesn't glide on well, even with a primer2
The product smells strange, like fruity pebbles mixed with a weird herb. The smell is strong and gave me a headache. It's also oily and semi thick. I don't think it covers that well after blended.2
So disappointed. I love CC and BB creams. All different types. High and low end. Doesn't matter. I've found some gems. But this... Gross. If you can even get over the awful smell it sits on my skin (normal/dry) feeling greasy for a short amount of time... But long enough that I hate it. It has close to no coverage for my skin. I would save my money and get a maybelline cc cream before this one any day.2
I didn't like this product at all. The color was off. It was too dark for my skin tone and came out making me look a little orangey. The coverage was so sheer, I might as well have not been wearing anything. It didn't even out my skin tone at all it just gave it all a kind of oompa loompa quality. I have oily skin so I really like using products with a matte finish. This made me super shiny. This product was absolutely worthless to me.2
Really dislike the scent. Too strong. Only used it once, and saw no real coverage or effect. Wouldn't buy.2
Very oily on skin, it's summer here in Southern California cannot use this product in weather such as this.2
This product in "warm glow" was too dark for my skin, even with a little July tan going on. Also, it was hard to spread - had a dryer texture than I would have liked.2
Felt a little greasy going on. Didn't really even out my skin at all. I've used so many more products that are more effective and a fraction of the cost.2
