Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
I was not impressed with this product at all! I am more of a fan of full coverage foundation which is probably why, I just don't feel like it gave me great coverage and it did not smell very good either.2
I was super excited to get a sample to try out, but was a little disappointed with the results. I thought because this was a CC cream, it'd perform better than my BB cream, Dr. Jart Waterfuse. The coverage was much more sheer and didn't seem to build very well. That was the major flaw for me; it didn't even cover as well as a tinted moisturizer. I didn't mind the smell, sort of an orangey herbal scent and did like that it was thicker, like a moisturizer. Definitely looking for more coverage, which this didn't have.2
didn't like the feel of the product on my skin. I ended up with the lighter of the two versions of this product, and while I am a pale person, it was far too pale for me. I'll stick with my serum/ moisturizer/ Stila foundation method.2
I liked the texture of this product but not the smell, although it did lighten once on so it wasn't enough to turn me off of the product. It just didn't offer enough coverage or color, I really didn't see any evening out of skintone.2
Overall I liked how the product worked, but the smell (a mixture of crayons, Play-Doh, and rotten fruit) did not work for me. Yick. I love natural beauty products and generally do not have particular sensitivity to scents, but this was just not very pleasant.2
This CC cream was a little on the thick side and did NOT blend well into my skin, the color was also a little off. Would not be purchasing anytime soon.2
I really like the coverage I got with this cream. It adds moisture to my dry winter skin without making my skin oily. I tend to have redness in my cheeks that it covers well and tones down greatly. I just can't recommend this based on the smell. It has a weird freshly turned soil mixed with stale fruit loops smell that I can still smell on my skin for about an hour after application. My boyfriend has also notice the smell when I'm wearing it.2
I was excited to learn I was getting this CC cream. The coverage is pretty good, but the smell is HORRIBLE. Usually I can get past a weird odor, but this one is ugh!!! Kind of dissappointed due to wanting to use this product.2
I could take it or leave it. While this product may work in the long term, I didnt care for the sunscreen like smell and the texture. However it is an all natural product which is nice.2
I would not recommend for sensitive or acne prone skin. I only tried it once and that was enough - My skin was red and itchy where I applied the product.2
