Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
I'm not super into BB creams, but I appreciate light coverage and SPF during the summer. This product, however, smells awful. And the smell lingers after it was on my face. I didn't love the way it made my skin look. I have oily skin and this BB cream left me with a lot of shine right after I put it on. Even if everything else was wonderful, I can't get past the smell.2
rough smell + too oily = not the right product for me2
I usually use CC or BB creams in my everyday, but I definitely was not impressed by this. The smell was very off putting and the product's consistency was thick and it was hard smoothly apply.2
This cc cream goes on way thick. It is hard to put in because of its texture. Not really hip on the smell either. So much happier with my drugstore version!2
After a friend of mine received a CC Cream from a different brand in her BIRCHBOX and raved about it, I was super excited to try this CC Cream. I've never tried a CC Cream before this. I've always wanted to, but I'm so attached to my BB Creams. I liked that the product was a natural product, and it was a good shade. It was easy to apply and it blended well. Unfortunately, those were the only redeeming qualities for me. The scent is horrible. I kind of hate that I can still smell it on my skin after a whole day of wear. It just smells dirty. Also, after 8-10 hours of wear, it feels dirty too. My skin is super dry, and by the end of my day, you can see where the product gets patchy and it just looks bad. I'm glad I tried it though! It just means this product was not meant for me.2
I did not care for this CC Cream at all. It smelled like bug spray so I hated putting it on my face. It also did not cover as well as other brands that I have used in the past. Besides the color not being strong enough to cover fully, it did not spread well. Too bad since I was hoping I would like it since it had 12 beneficial points.2
Not a fan of this product (for reference, my sample was "warm glow"). It is too thick for a CC cream, and smells like they tried to make it refreshing, but it really smells like someone just mowed their front yard and threw the grass on your face. The coverage is really not that great either, which is not terrible for a CC cream, but is odd given that this product is so thick. Not worth it.2
This is way to greasy and it smells horrible. I had to wash it off my face immediately!!2
It did everything it promises, made my under eye look great, but the scent is just not good. There are too many cc creams out there to settle on one that smells bad.2
I was expecting much better coverage than this provided. It smells like fruit loops, but it's not such a good smell to make me excited while applying. It doesn't last, and my skin looked oily and felt kind of sticky after the application. I had to put a powder on over it, and I'd rather my cream go on smooth and have much better tint/shade. This would have fit my skin tone... If it didn't just blend in to look sheer.2
