Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
Per other reviews, I used a toner and applied while skin was still damp. It went on well--I still needed concealer under my eyes. I don't know if I would choose to use this over the tinted moisturizer I currently use. Did not cause me to break out.3
I do like the color for my skin. it definitely smooths the appearance and tone, but is a bit difficult to spread smoothly. I do appreciate the minimal coverage it provided.4
I don't like the texture and greasy feel of sunscreen on my face. This felt a lot like that. I have used other products from Birchbox that are a cc cream with sunscreen and I love them. Particularly the supergoop brand. I didn't like the feel of this one.4
Loved this, left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed.4
At first I did not like the texture. It seemed very heavy on my skin at first, till I read other reviews. I dampen my skin with my face toner. When my face is slightly damp I apply the CC cream. I now am very pleased with the texture & light coverage it offers & it no longer feels heavy.4
I was excited to try this because the ingredients list is fantastic. I use an all-natural line of skincare that I love, and hoped this would be similar. The texture is oddly thick though, and felt heavy going on, but after about 15 minutes it had absorbed and felt nice. I didn't think it was very effective at color balancing though. Unlike some other reviewers, I really liked the scent. It's natural, essential oils, not nasty artificial fragrances, and I appreciated the fresh citrus/herbal scent from the petitgrain (neroli) oil. But for the price this didn't do it for me, and I'll stick with my beloved Andalou.4
This product went on nice and the natural glow color worked for my fair porcelain skin. However, after applying the product my face was so greasy and shiny. that I would not use this daily.3
Good Cc cream covers most but not all.. not to thick. It's a great addition to your make up counter!5
I wasn't too impressed with this product. Although it covered some imperfections and felt lightweight on my skin, it wasn't anything too special. I thought that it made my skin shiny in a bad way, and it had a very strange smell to it.4
Overall, this is a nice CC cream--it goes on smoothly and blends in to my skin. However, it would be nice if it had SPF and also acted as a sunscreen.4
