Sometimes the sequel is better than the original. Just when we hailed BB creams as the ultimate makeup multitaskers, along came CC creams. This 12-in-1 wonder from Juice Beauty offers more targeted anti-aging benefits than its BB counterparts, all while delivering a buildable layer of coverage. The creamy formula has a light, fruity scent and is designed to moisturize, prime, protect, and conceal imperfections all at once.
I use a light dusting of powder as foundation. So, this product, and all creamy foundations are not for me. I have oily skin and like very light coverage. The smell is not so good as well.3
Hmm, I didn't really like this one. It was a bit too dark for my skin and just not my type of product.3
The product does have an odd smell to it, but if you can get past that, it works great. I was worried about the color not going well with my skin tone, but that was not a problem. The product is pretty thick, but I only needed a small amount to cover my entire face.4
When I don't feel like using foundation or applying a lot of makeup, I use this for a nice, minimal coverage, glow. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy. It's a nice break for your skin. I apply it after using my toning spray. The smell isn't great, and it doesn't really need to be.4
Juice Beauty's CC cream is really the complete package. It's not oily or greasy feeling while providing the SPF factor your skin needs. It gives even skin tone coverage, the Desert Glow is a nice medium tone, and as with most higher end products, a little goes a long way. This is a product I would definitely consider buying.4
Overall the product is pretty decent. I was not in love with it unfortunantly. The scent is very close to a mud mask that you would use, though it does tend to fade as the day goes on. Coverage is decent enough for a CC cream. It covers pretty well if you have slight blimishes on your face. I would not recomend for someone who is looking for a buildable coverage.4
I'm not huge on cc creams during the summer, since my skins get a nice tan that I don't need to cover up. Tried this a few time, worked pretty well but felt a bit heavy on my face.3
The sample was too small to get an accurate review of this product! However, in the small amount I could smell how bad it smelt!3
I have dozens of bb and cc creams floating around my makeup bag and drawers so I wasn't as excited when I found this in my box. Much to my surprise, it has better coverage than most of my existing products. Besides the funky smell, it provides everything you're looking for in a cc cream.4
This product is very thick and goopy and if you use just the tiniest amount you do not get enough coverage. Not sure how you would acheive "buildable" coverage because subsequent thin layers mixed together and made it thick and goopy.3
