Highlighted and color-treated hair is especially prone to dryness and damage, but many color-specific products only mask the issue—the haircare equivalent of slapping a flimsy bandage on a gaping wound. Kérastase’s Masque Chroma Riche for highlighted hair actually gets to the root of the problem (pun intended): the formula repairs texture to give you softer, healthier, and shinier hair.
I gave this conditioner a shot after receiving the sample packets in my box last month. Has a pretty strong perfume smell, and left my hair incredibly soft. Overall, I really liked this conditioner.
BUT when I looked online for the ingredient list (since it wasn't listed on the sample packet), I was disappointed to find out that it contains sodium laureth sulfate -- a cheap detergent which supposedly strips color from your hair. For a more expensive conditioner, I would have hoped for higher quality ingredients.
I tried a sample of this and I was amazed at how soft it made my hair. And it was soft in a manageable way. That is Not staticky or full of flyaways. Previously I had used Macademia Deep Repair Mask...No more. I recieved two sample pouches of the Kerastase's Mask, and i already cannot wait to use it! I will be purchasing this product at some point, maybe when i have some points built up, because this product is pricey. i think it might be a nice treat for once in a whiloe though.
5I have naturally curly hair that I typically blow out and hot style. I used this for the first time recently (along with my regular shampoo) and love love love the way it makes my hair feel! I've used other Kerastase products in the past and have always been impressed. I could see myself springing for this mask to use 2-3 monthly as an upkeep measure for my highlighted and color treated hair.
