If you’re an old-fashioned gent, you like a quality shoe shine, crisp pocket squares, and a traditional straight-razor shave. But when a jam-packed schedule doesn’t allow for cutthroat whisker removal, we suggest this concentrated, creamy soap, which brings to mind classic barber shops (especially the Italian variety) with its tingly sensation and old-school packaging.
I didn't like it. It doesn't smell anything special, my face went numb after using it, it felt weird, it didn't work well, and was just an overall poor product.3
Gives a good lather. I used it with 3 different razors I have and it worked will with all of them. I really liked the sent. Kinda like a sandalwood sent. I normally tend to go for the gel type shaving creams, but I really liked the cooling sensation after shaving.5
This is a classic shaving cream, I owned it before receiving the birch box. I would recommend it.4
I didn't really feel anything incredible DURING the shaving process, but they weren't exaggerating the after-shave minty feel. It feels like wintergreen gum, just for your face.4
I don't shave often, but this product was pretty good. Gave it a 3/5 just because I'm not one to shave often.3
nice non foaming gel. It left my skin very smoothed. I loved the smell4
I would definitely use a brush. I tried it the first time by just lathering using my hands, you need a brush. I normally use a sensitive skin shave cream. The product rinsed easily and I didn't get any razor burn or bumps even without the aid of a pre-shave oil.4
I usually use shave soap, but this cream I'm not against at all. Highly enjoyable with a minty masculine scent.5
I've been trying different shaving creams lately, and this is the best one so far! Doesn't have an overpowering smell, which is what I look for in a lot of products.4
This product is fine - I just happen to not be much of a shaving cream user. I've never had a problem with soap and water, and don't feel the need to change from that method.4
