It's the biggest mistake a curly-haired girl can make. After working too much gel through your strands, they resemble a bowl of uncooked fusilli: curly, yes, but also hard and crunchy. Make the switch to this unique styling lotion, which adds definition and controls frizz without leaving your hair feeling stiff. Since the formula is water-based, it won't leave any sticky residue behind—and it's also humidity-proof. Best of all, the reactivating formula is ideal for styling between washes: When you dampen your hair, the serum kicks back in to smooth down unruly strands.
I used this product for the first time. I have naturally curly hair and it was wonderful. I found it to be light, greaseless, and can really hold a curl. I would really recommend this product. My hair felt clean and soft.3
My hair is wavy, and I only wear it that way during the summer. So I will wait and try this product out in a month or so!3
My hair is pretty dry and damaged at the moment so that could be why it didn't work very well? I like that this curl keeper is a gel liquid instead of a cream, but I hate how it feels. It is sticky and leaves my hair kind of crunchy and not so soft which is a big turn off for me.
I am working on fixing up my hair right now and I will retry this product in a few weeks to see if there is any kind of difference. I think this product is effective, just not amazing.
I currently use dry oils like Argan Oil and Macademia Oil on my wavy, frizzy, thick hair, especially if I am going to let it air dry. This product was thin and light weight as promised, and had a pleasant smell. However, I'm not all together sure how much frizz control it provided me. I will say I did like the light weight feel and texture, but the fluid is so watery that it can be tricky to put on without spilling it. Also, because my hair is so thick, I wasn't sure how much control and moisturizing it would actually give it. This is a product probably best suited to fine or medium hair. I will stick to my Macademia Oil.3
I have very fine, curly hair, and this product really only weighed my hair down. I had to put it into a spray bottle to really use it correctly and I was not a fan of the texture of my hair after using it.3
I like the product and it definitely works, but I would say it doesn't last long enough to actually buy a bottle of this. Going to stick with what I was using before3
I sampled this product in my March box, but I don't have curly hair. I do have frizzy hair, however this product didn't do anything for me. My partially wavy hair went kind of flat and the frizz wasn't gone like I'd hope.3
I have naturally curly/ wavy hair that is pretty frizzy. I loved the formula, it felt really nice with no crunchy or slimy residue, but in order for the product to work its magic you have to let your hair air-dry, which isn't necessarily time-saving or productive in a busy, cold morning. When I attempted to gently use my hair dryer to speed things up a little, back came the frizz. Product is great if you have hair that air dries fast, but that's just not a possibility for me.3
My first time using the product, I was just getting work done around the house and did not take any effort into styling. I let it completely air dry and only used a little additional product (curling spritz). As it dried, I could tell it was getting a little wild like it normally does, but when I went to the mirror to pull back into a bun, like I normally do as my hair has a mind of its own, I was pleasantly surprised by my soft looking curls. despite my hair being all over the place, the normal frizzy/dry curls were gone and replaced with moisturized locks. I have hope for this product, but now I need to find the right product for styling to compliment the frizz control.3
I did like that it was light, and doesn't weigh my wavy hair down.3
