It doesn’t matter how many times we’ve given ourselves a mani—we always end up with stray polish all over our cuticles. Luckily, this German brand is out to make the whole affair easier. Considered one of the premier professional lacquer brands in Europe, alessandro crossed the ocean to bring us its rock-solid formula and specially designed bottle. With both bright, flashy colors and universally flattering neutrals, you’re bound to find a shade you love.
I really loved the navy blue color I received, but I was surprised that it took 3 heavy coats to be opaque and then disappointed that it chipped VERY easily.3
I'm not yet sold on this product compared to many other nail polish brands. I found it quite sheer as I applied coats, perhaps because I tend to apply very thin coats in order to dry quicker. Also, not super impressed by the pigmentation.3
I keep my nails short so at-home manicures last longer and this nail color chipped the next day even with base and top coat.3
I was not a huge fan of the color I received. It was a greyish-blue. Did not look right with my skin tone. However it did go on nicely. I would be interested to see other brighter colors they have.3
I received the blue lagoon color. It's more of a dull navy blue, which I liked. It does go on very sheer and requires patience to apply a few coats. The grooves in the handle make it comfortable to hold, but otherwise, I didn't find it much different from your typical drug store polish.3
It's not bad as far as nail polish goes. I mean, I own a lot of mail polish, and it is pretty much the same as the others. It seems to last a little longer than most polishes so, I can't really complain. It is a good product, and another thing I noticed is that the smell isn't too harsh either.3
I haven't tried the polish yet because the blue color I got is intressting. The other color choices look pretty, I just have too many polishes already!3
It is a pretty good nail polish, but quite thick for the first time application. The color Blue Lagoon is what I would have imagined a blue jean color would look like. It was pitched as opaque, which is certainly is, but it's just a bit thick, so it takes a while to dry.3
I received Blue Lagoon in my Birchbox and it's okay. The color probably wasn't one I would have picked out but good for winter & looks good on my toes! Went on easily and has lasted a few days.3
The color applies much more green and darker than it appears. Nice color but definitely not for me. Overall, nice bottle design but definitely on the small side. I will stick with my Lippmann, Chanel and Dior polishes when I feel like splurging on nail color.3
