It doesn’t matter how many times we’ve given ourselves a mani—we always end up with stray polish all over our cuticles. Luckily, this German brand is out to make the whole affair easier. Considered one of the premier professional lacquer brands in Europe, alessandro crossed the ocean to bring us its rock-solid formula and specially designed bottle. With both bright, flashy colors and universally flattering neutrals, you’re bound to find a shade you love.
Never thought I would purchase a $12 bottle of nail polish...never really went over $8. Well, it's definitely worth the $12! The color goes on great...I used two coats, but I always do anyways. Like any other nail polish, it chips over time. But, I definitely feel this one lasted longer than others.5
I thought the color and the finish of the product were beautiful, however it chipped the next day. For the price ($12), I would expect a bit more durability on the nails.3
I was pleasantly surprised how nicely the polish (Blue Lagoon) went on. You do need 2-3 coats, but the coats go on smoothly and the brush is fantastic!4
LOVE these colors, it goes on smooth and even with one coat! I love it! I will definitely be getting more!5
I received Blue Lagoon in my January Birchbox. I absolutely LOVE the color. Not one that I own anything like so it's great to have a change. I used this nail polish with a matte topcoat from a different brand. I just love it. Looks just like blue jeans. Perfect casual color. Perfect for summer with your jeans. =) That being said, I'm still on the fence about the product as a whole. As much as I loved the color, I really didn't like the formula. It seemed streaky and didn't go on smooth for me. Looked okay after 3 coats, but the matte top coat is what really smoothed it out for me and made it a winner.3
I got the color Blue Lagoon and I love it. It's kind of a blue-violet; there's a hint of purple lurking in there. The color is chic and understated - as much as a blue can be understated. It seems to have pretty good staying power. I painted my nails 2 days ago and so far no chipping. The product went on smoothly and covered completely in 2 coats.4
Just a regular nail polish in my opinion. I did not like the color I received. I like more nude nail polish.2
This nail polish was fab! I am a total polish snob and only use Essie and OPI because I feel others don't glide on as smoothly or chip too quickly but this was really nice and has held up well.5
I believe I received the Blue Nuit color in my box but I couldn't find the name anywhere on the bottle. I like the color a lot, it's VERY different than any color I already own. It's almost like a cloudy dark blue, I think it's pretty. You definitely need 2 coats, I was worried after I applied the 1st coat because it seemed very uneven but once the second coat was applied it looked good. I've only had it on for the day so I cant comment on how long it stays put but almost ALL nail polishes I've ever tried chip very easily on me so I try not to judge a brand just from that. The only complaint I have is that I didn't like the brush size. I like smaller bottles since I never seem to use an entire color before it dries up but the size of the wand attached to the brush made for an awkward application.4
the color of this nail polish is a perfect blue- not overbearing but enough to be different. I also appreciate that this polish is relatively thin which we all know makes a good polish.4
