NUXE Rêve de Miel® Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel

French women seem to have the uncanny ability to look effortlessly stunning. Before we all run out to buy striped sailor shirts and Chanel flats, it’s worth starting with the basics: our skin. This French brand’s two-in-one cleanser and makeup remover is made for dry, sensitive, and irritation-prone complexions. The amber-hued gel keeps skin’s moisture barrier intact while effectively melting away all signs of dirt, debris, and product residue.

Unfortunately after 1 use my face broke out in a red rash. I was looking forward to using this. Will not be purchasing regular size.

Smell too strong
Sampled

The cleanser worked pretty good, however the smell was so strong I could barely finish washing my face and then the perfume was on my skin and did not go away. It was stronger than most body washes.

Too harsh

This cleanser never lathered even though the instructions state that it would. When I rinsed my face it left my skin raw. I did use my normal clarsonic, but I've never had that reaction before.

Very disappointed in this product. It barely took off my makeup, even after 2 tries. I even broke out from skin irritation

The Smell

It is an effective product but it isn't worth the smell.

Not for me

I think maybe as a makeup remover this is ok but there is nothing there that gives your skin a deep clean. I even tried using it twice and still felt like my face was dirty.

I still had makeup on ever I washed my face twice. It didn't work at all. It even made my skin a bit dry.

Didn't remove my makeup at all....

The smell wasn't too bad so I thought I would try it. Did not remove any makeup. Mascara was just smeared under my eyes. I had to use a makeup wipe after. Also why is caramel in the ingredients?

Makeup remover that doesn't remove eye makeup?
Sampled

Why in the world would anyone make a makeup remover that you cannot use around your eyes? That is the most critical part of makeup that I would think anyone wants/needs to remove. I am puzzled beyond belief. Sorry, it's a pass on this one :(

I didn't find this product to be effective at all, didn't make my face feel fresh or clean, and really did not like the smell.
