NUXE Rêve de Miel® Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel

French women seem to have the uncanny ability to look effortlessly stunning. Before we all run out to buy striped sailor shirts and Chanel flats, it’s worth starting with the basics: our skin. This French brand’s two-in-one cleanser and makeup remover is made for dry, sensitive, and irritation-prone complexions. The amber-hued gel keeps skin’s moisture barrier intact while effectively melting away all signs of dirt, debris, and product residue.

Did not remove makeup!
Sampled

This product did not remove makeup at the end of the day. It had a sting scent and left a heavy residue on my face.

made me break out

this product would be great for anyone who doesn't have sensitive skin but unfortunately I do. if I use anything that has fragrance or Parfums in it I break out.

I housed this product twice and both times I still had makeup let behind. Very disappointed and it really didn't smell that great either.

This product doesn't do a good job with cleaning your face at all. I used it a couple of times and still had to use my regular facial cleanser to remove what makeup was left behind.

sad girl

This product made me sad. It did not work like at all. It felt nice and smelled nice. It would not take my makeup off.

It works nice but I was a little upset because this isn't what I was hoping to get in my birchbox.

Not for the fragrance-sensitive!
Sampled

Even if I needed a product like this (which I don't since I have switched to micellar water for makeup removal), I wouldn't choose this one. I can barely get past the smell to even identify how well it works. It has a sickeningly strong perfumed scent, so much so that I had to rewash my face to get rid of the smell. Seriously, it was giving me a headache. Beyond that, it doesn't seem to work that great. I went over my face with micellar water just to see if it had gotten all of my makeup off and it didn't. Doesn't lather easily either.

Raccoon in a Head Shop
Sampled

Ugh, this stuff burns my face and doesn't do anything! The makeup smeared all over my face in gobs instead of coming off. It smells like a head shop, if you're into that kind of thing.

Eh.. The smell
Sampled

I was already turned off by the consistency of the product, once I went to use it, the smell kept me from putting it on my face.

I didn't like the smell

I was excited to use this product from the description, but when I went to wash my face I couldn't deal with the smell of the product and didn't even use it.

Keep away from eyes?
Sampled

First, this smells divine, I wish it had worked better for me! I didn't get much of a lather from it, and it didn't really feel as if it got through my makeup. And I don't wear a lot on my face, BB cream and blush. It barely touched my mascara, only to smear it really. I did a second application with slightly improved results, but still had to go over with eye make up remover. Then I saw that it said to keep away from eyes, I get it, there's specific eye makeup remover but for me this seems like an unnecessary product in my bathroom.
