French women seem to have the uncanny ability to look effortlessly stunning. Before we all run out to buy striped sailor shirts and Chanel flats, it’s worth starting with the basics: our skin. This French brand’s two-in-one cleanser and makeup remover is made for dry, sensitive, and irritation-prone complexions. The amber-hued gel keeps skin’s moisture barrier intact while effectively melting away all signs of dirt, debris, and product residue.
Takes off my makeup great, but the smell with knock you over. It reminds me of a man's bad colone. Will not purchase in the future.1
I got this face wash as a sample and I was excited to try it. However, the smell is awful! Smells like the air freshener they put inside port-a-potties, so I did not like it. I tried to use it anyway and it was okay as a face wash. But the smell lingered after I rinsed and I cannot stand the smell so I won't be using this again.1
First off the smell was awful and strong: it smelled like my grandmother's Estate Lauder perfume God rest her soul, but I hate the smell. Second I only had powder on when I tried it and it didn't cleanse or remove makeup I had to use my normal face wash to actually get the trick done.1
This smells so yummy but stings my eyes and doesn't remove my makeup very well. It does fine on my face but poorly on my eyes so I applied eye makeup to the back of my hand and found I had to really scrub the get it off.1
I used it twice and it left my skin dry and flaky (and I have oily skin). It also had a weird medicinal smell.1
The instructions say to work into a lather and This product seems incapable of doing so. Not effective in removing make up and i found it drying to my skin.1
At first I thought this was a decent cleanser, but then I noticed the packaging cautions that it can not be used near eyes. A makeup remover that can't be used for eye makeup is completely useless to me. There are so many effective cleansers out there than can be used for eyes, so I would never buy this product, and I will probably struggle to even finish my sample.1
The amount of fragrance in this face wash is overpowering. And seeing that it's listed so high on the ingredient list wasn't encouraging. It was a pretty effective cleanser and it didn't dry out my skin. But that amount of fragrance in a skincare product, even one that you wash away, isn't very good for your skin. It can sensitize it and cause some cell damage. If it were fragrance free, I think this could be a very effective cleanser.1
I suppose the bottom line is that it did indeed remove makeup. However, it smells SO CHEMICALLY, almost irritates my sinuses smelling it. It's also very thin, so you need to use a lot of the product in order to cover and remove makeup from your whole face. Afterwards, my face felt dried out.1
The smell is so strong and off putting it is insane. Horrible cloying stink. Just no. Squeezes it in the trash and recycled the plastic tube.1
