At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
One of the worse shampoos that the shampoo-of-the-month club (aka Birchbox) has sent me. This left a heavy residue that had to be washed out using a better shampoo.2
This was just like any other shampoo to me. It didn't really make any difference in my hair texture or smoothness.2
I'm not a huge shampoo fan or sampler, so as long as they get my hair clean, it's all good. This shampoo does what a shampoo should do.2
I really wanted to love this product, it had a great smell and it seemed to stay with my hair even after drying and styling. My big disappointment with it, was that I have very thick hair and a little bit did not go a long way. I practically used most of the bottle the first time to really feel like it reached my scalp. I have very thick hair and this shampoo did not seem to penetrate through very well. I did get compliments on how nice my hair smelled but ultimately only the surface layer of hair really felt clean after. I'd be interested in trying if I felt like the product had a bit more substance to it.2
I was disappointed in this, I usually love all Number 4 products! I have thick curly hair and I did not think it was very effective, my hair didnt really feel clean after it and I thought the shampoo I am using now did a much better job.2
It's all right. It smells pretty good (though some people don't like the scent--it's certainly out of the ordinary). It washed my hair. But it didn't do anything spectacular that my usual $5 shampoo doesn't do. Maybe this is because I have simple, straight, thick hair that's not so hard to take care of. Nonetheless, I wasn't impressed.2
Nice smelling shampoo, Loved that the sample size was enough to use more than once, but it felt a little sticky when i put it in my hair.2
I'm just not a fan of No. 5's products- don't like the smell and don't do anything different to make me but it over another brand.2
Same as the conditioner this shampoo stripped out my hair. Not for me2
It was ok. I wasn't crazy about it. It is low lather and felt like it didn't clean my hair very well.2
