At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
I didn't like this product at all. I do very little processing of my hair and I use very little product. I can get away with washing my hair every 4-5 days. Even after only waiting 3 days, this did nothing to clean my hair. It remained oily at the root. I don't recommend at all.1
I'm not a fan of this shampoo for several reasons. A) I don't like the scent of it. Scent is a must have in shampoos for me. B) I didn't notice a difference in my hair after, and was really disappointed with the way my hair felt after it dried. I'll stick to Not Your Mother's Plump for Joy. It smells delicious, and it WORKS. Also.. its only about $5 each for shampoo and conditioner.1
We get so many shampoo samples. Come on and step it up Birchbox!1
It felt slimy on my hair. Also I didn't like the smell but I could get used to it. It also says you could use it as a body wash I didn't try it but I wouldn't use it for that. There are much better shampoos that cost less and aren't slimy.1
Worst shampoo I have ever used. Strike one: the SMELL. If you're into old lady perfume mixed with cheap hairspray, this is for you. I have zero issues with perfume sensitivity and was literally choking in the shower. Strike two: the consistency! It was like trying to lather up super glue. Super thick and unpleasant. Strike three: the effectiveness. One wash and my hair turned into brittle straw that took half an hour of deep conditioning to fix. Three strikes, this shampoo is OUT.1
I really like the smell but it didnt work on my hair, it got even worse after the first use.1
As usual I don't think Birchbox really reads the hair portion of our profiles all I can say it that it smells nice and got my hair clean but most other shampoos do, it definitely isn't something I would pay for.1
For one I didn't care for the smell. Smells like musky old man's Cologne.I didn't like the feel of my hair afterwards.1
This shampoo left residue on my hair, which I wasn't expecting. Not what I want from a clarifying shampoo.1
I was so excited to get this product in my box. I am very aware how important it is to use a good clarifying shampoo to deeply clean your scalp. I don't know how i really feel about this one. While I feel my scalp is extremely clean after one use, I am not a fan of the smell and my hair appears lifeless and flat after use.1
