At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
This stuff works just the same as my current shampoo. No better, no worse. The price is a lot higher, though. On the plus side, I really like that it's vegan and has no sulfate. It's hard to find vegan cosmetics and shampoos.3
This left my hair feeling soft and clean without feeling "stripped". I like to do a clarifying treatment once a week since my hair is on the oily side. My only issue is that the shampoo is very, very thick. You have to really work it in your hands to get a lather before applying it, and even then it's a little difficult to work it into the scalp.3
I have fine hair and this product doesn't seem to clean very well. The scent is pretty non-existent as well.3
The shampoo cleansed my hair well and made it feel healthy. Since it doesn't lather it was a thick consistency and my scalp became a little dry from this product and I started to flake.3
The shampoo smelled nice, lathered nicely, and my hair felt nice out of the shower. However, it did dry out my scalp so I had a bit of dandruff. It's not my favorite shampoo I've ever tried.3
This product just isn't for me. My hair is wavy/curly and subject to humidity frizz. I swear all Birchbox products are made for pin-straight haired guys.3
It is a very thick shampoo, I had a hard time lathering it through my hair and had to use alot cause I have alot of hair. The smell was good, it reminded me of my grandmas shampoo smell ( not a bad thing). The packaging was just so bland it didn't do anything for me.3
Why oh why did I get this sample again ? Birch box fail this month a sample I've already recieved and spray water3
I don't really think this is meant for African American hair. It doesn't provide enough hydration.3
I enjoyed using this sample, but it's not something I would buy3
