At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
I have long, thick hair and this shampoo left my hair kind of heavy and therefore flat. I thought I was the conditioner at first, but I tried it again with my normal conditioner and my hair was still heavier than normal. The shampoo still smells quite nice and just a little amount was enough for my long hair.3
I tried this clarifying shampoo and it seemed to work fine. The smell was okay, but I didn't really notice any difference in my hair.3
I have very long hair so I always need more shampoo than average. However, this just seemed so strange. The label said to use sparingly but I had to use so much because it wasn't lathering like it was supposed to. My hair felt dry after using it but since I used the masque from the same brand it worked out ok. Probably wouldn't spend my money on this though.3
I love that this is free of sulfates, parabens, etc. It's hard to find good products that meet this requirement. That being said, this is a bit on the expensive side compared to other products that do an equally good job. The pricing makes me less likely to purchase in the future.3
After using this shampoo, I had to re-wash my hair to get all the residue off. I thought the point of clarifying shampoo was to remove residue. Yuck.3
I have heard about clarifying shampoos working wonders, but this shampoo just didn't do it for me. Instead of leaving my hair clean and light, it left it dry and matted down. The texture of my hair seemed dirtier after use. It wasn't the worst shampoo I've ever used, but definitely not the best either.3
Tried this Shampoo once to see how to would work to get all my product build up off. It does a good job but I thought it was too harsh on my hair. Would not buy this product.3
The smell of this shampoo was weird, but not terrible. As was mentioned on the bottle, I tried not to use too much of it, and it actually worked--I didn't need to add more. The shampoo was just fine, but didn't blow me away.3
It is boring to get shampoo samples as I don't like them3
Texture is weird, but if you follow the directions and rub together in your hands before use it becomes more shampoo-like. It didn't strip the color from my hair, which I liked, but it didn't do a whole lot for me otherwise. I have very fine hair, so it kind of weighed it down.3
