At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave your locks feeling dull, use Number 4 Clarifying Shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, to gently cleanse without stripping moisture or color.
Let me start with this shampoo smells amazing! Other than that I'm not very impressed. It seemed to do a decent job of clarifying without stripping my color, but it doesn't really lather and I just don't feel clean without a good lather. That being said, if it's price point were closer to $15, I would probably buy it just for the way it made my hair smell.3
The clarifying sample was a much better sample then the hydrating in a prior box; it is actually cleaning my hair without a lather, rinse repeat. However, at this price point, I will still pass. The scent is not one I find that favorable either.3
Would not spend the money on this product, as I didn't notice any difference in my hair after using it.3
The smell was fine and it seemed to work fine, but I didn't see anything from it worthy of purchasing it, especially when I already have a great shampoo that I found and use, from Birchbox, for a better price and better results.3
This shampoo is not for me. I need a shampoo that produces more suds or else I feel like it didn't clean. Plus the scent is more musky and I think I will let my husband use this product. I don't mind the scent just not on me.3
The shampoo works and it smells good, but it's not different from any other shampoo of the same type for me. I would rather use a volumizing shampoo.3
I really wanted to like this shampoo (and the reconstructing masque), but I just don't. The smell is overpowering to me and while it made my hair feel soft, it also left it less shiny than usual and more flyaway. Plus, by the early evening, my hair was starting to look a little oily. The consistency is a bit odd unless you are used to low-lather products. It may be a great product for you, but it just doesn't work for me.3
I liked this shampoo but it was rather expensive. I normally spend less on my shampoos.3
this smells like a men's hair care product but it washed my hair as well as it should.3
It kind of left my hair greasy feeling. I thought maybe I didn't rinse completely the first time, but it was the same the second time. My hair is peculiar so like I said, maybe just not for me!3
