At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
It was okay, it didn't do anything spectacular, in my opinion. It wasn't much different from the products I already use. I didn't care for the smell either. I like that it had no sulfates --but, that was really it.3
This turned out not to be my favorite shampoo. Although I shampooed my hair, it felt dirty after. Not site if the shampoo is not cleaning my hair or if it is leaving some sort of residue on my head. It changed how I needed to style my hair. I was not impressed.3
While there was nothing wrong with the consistency of the product or the smell, which was very pleasant, going by the directions and using a small amount doesn't work well for thicker hair. Will try again once my hair is shorter and thinned out.3
this clarifying shampoo made my hair very dry and frizzy, need a very serious moisturizing shampoo? Have tried nearly all brands of leave in and shampoo and conditioners that claim to be intense moisturizing still very dry hair. Vi have very thick coarse hair.3
This brand is just too expensive. Especially since I have a product that I use now that is the best shampoo ever. So, I have to rate this compared to my dream shampoo.3
I really enjoyed the size of this sample, I still have a few uses left! Smelled nice, and left my hair feeling soft. I did like the fact that I also received the Masque from the same Number 4 product line to try as well. Nice products, but a bit pricey for this gal (who is looking to step up her shampoo and conditioner game) but usually buys her pantene from Tar-zhay.3
Scent is nice and subtle
Little bit goes a long way
Made scalp condition go from normal (not particularly dry or oily) to dry/itchy
Not enough difference in hair look or condition compared to a drug store shampoo to warrant ordering full size
Birchbox has sent me this brand of shampoo many times in my boxes. I am not impressed with the brand, especially for the price tag. The shampoo always seems nice enough in the shower, but then my hair looks lackluster and bad-hair-day-ish on the days when I use it.3
I was really excited to try this shampoo as it does not contain silicones. I rinsed my hair with it 3 times in one shower and my hair was still greasy -- I could tell that the products I had used were not washed off. I ended up using my normal shampoo at the end and there was an immediate difference -- my hair felt squeaky clean with just one rinse. Unfortunately, I will not be using this product again since it was very ineffective at cleaning my hair!3
I was able to get three uses out of the same. The smell was fine. The consistency on the other hand was not. It was very thick and sticky which made it hard to lather up in my very thick hair. It did seem to clean the hair well though.3
