At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
I tried this masque got only one use out of it. I will say the consistency and texture is nice feels great in my hair very smooth and the smell is quite refreshing. I thought the oackaging was rather blah looking not something I would normally reach for. But all in all it was an okay masque nothing better than one from a drugstore.3
The shampoo made my hair very dry and brittle. It took all of the oils out and looks terrible. If you have oily hair it may be a good once in a while shampoo for you, but not for me!3
in the past I've learned that washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday only drys it out. Because i use gel and hairspray in my hair everyday I wash it with just conditioner 6 days out of the week. on the 7th day I use a shampoo to really clean my scalp from any build up over the week. While in the shower i really liked this product i felt like it was totally cleaning my scalp and taking out all of the product i used throughout the week. However once i was out of the shower and went on with my normal routine gel and hairspray i noticed my hair feeling dryer than normal and my curls being flatter.3
The smell of this clarifying shampoo was good. I feel like I do not get the full experience of a shampoo and its brand without a matching conditioner. They are go together to work together.3
This is a great clarifying shampoo if that's what you're after. I have curly hair so this isn't ideal for my day to day but its perfect for every once and while when I need that extra clean.3
number 4 products are always hit or miss for me in terms of scent but I genuinely like this one. I'm not sure this shampoo made a difference in my hair but it lathers quickly and makes my hair feel clean. it always felt like there was still product in my hair after washing, almost like it was a shampoo and conditioner in one because it made my hair so silky and smooth alone. it didn't make the time between shampooing decrease or anything, which was a bummer but all in one, I like this shampoo.3
This shampoo works well to clean my hair, but I have to use SO MUCH of it in order to get it clean (I have a lot of really thick hair). The scent is much less offensive to me than other Number 4 products.3
I absolutely love the Number 4 Prep & Protect spray, so I’ve been dying to try their other products. This is a decent shampoo, if a little drying, but it’s way way way over perfumed. The fragrance is so strong it had me sneezing in the shower, and it stayed that strong on my hair all day and night and into the next morning. It made me very self-conscious at work. Truly overpowering. It’s a shame, because I actually like the fragrance in the Prep & Protect, but that isn’t nearly as strong and fades after an hour or so.3
This shampoo was good enough, but seemed kind of average in my opinion. I've been using it for about a week now and my hair still feels dry. Although that could be just from winter weather that no shampoo could fix.3
This shampoo is so thick and so hard to feel like it's washed out of my hair. It just felt greasy while I was in the shower. My hair feels fine afterwards when I dry and style it, but I just can't get over how awful it feels when I'm washing it. I need to feel squeaky clean and this just doesn't do it for me.3
