At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
Number 4™ Clarifying Shampoo effectively cleaned my hair. The texture as a gel was tacky/sticky, but once lathered up, felt like a normal shampoo. I dig the smell.5
No one will relate to this, but as I was applying the shampoo to my hair and inhaled it's wonderful smell, it took me back to my childhood when I would watch my mother get ready to go out. The mix of her perfume, hair products, and face powder would consume me. That is what I was reminded of. To provide you with something a little more familiar, it smells like either Chanel or Dior perfume. Either way, my point is, it smells fancy! I used this shampoo and then I applied the masque. After I got out of the shower & brushed my hair, I applied the protectant spray (which I had received in a previous box & I thought I hated it) I guess since I had not used it with the same products before, it did not work as well. However, this time when I applied it, it seemed to make my hair dry faster, so I let my hair dry naturally. When I woke up the next morning my hair looked FANTASTIC! I had perfect waves and my hair was so soft! I love these products! I say give these products a try, you will LOVE them!5
This product is a great conditioner and leaves your hair smooth!4
I felt like my hair was stripped and very dry after I used this shampoo. I had to apply conditioner twice to be able to brush my hair out. But maybe it was just my hair type that doesn't do well with it.2
There's not really anything bad about it. Smells alright. Feels alright. Didn't particularly do anything amazing.3
I loved the way this smelled and it was a good sized sample. Made my hair feel very healthy and refreshed.5
This would be a great clarifying shampoo for individuals with dry hair. It did a fine job of getting any excess build up out, but even after rinsing for 5 minutes or so, it felt like I had poured a tub of conditioner in my hair that would not wash out. Also is has a thick honey-like consistency which kind of threw me off.2
This was very thick and almost sticky. It lathered up much more than the "no poo" cleanser I currently use for my hair. My hair felt stripped and dry after using this product but looked great when it dried.4
This is probably the best clarifying shampoo I've used. It didnt dry my highlighted hair out which was a plus. My scalp and hair was left feeling refreshed and clean.3
This shampoo had a great scent and is effective if you're using multiple products in your hair. However, since my hair gets very dry (especially in the colder months), I found that it was a little too effective for me.3
