At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
It was weird that this was almost like a gel consistency. It lathered very nicely. While I was still in the shower it did not feel like this actually cleaned my hair at first. After I got out and my hair dried it did feel very fresh and clean and light.4
I didn't really see much of a difference between this and my $2 drugstore shampoo. It felt clean, but nothing special.3
Made my hair squeaky clean and I got more compliments than normal on how beautiful my hair is! Love this stuff!!!5
Still left my hair feeling greasy and unclean. Disappointing, as it smells fantastic2
Wanted to like it but didn't. I have thick but fine hair and it was all tangly after. Not a fan.3
Birchbox, please stop sending me everything and anything this brand creates. Horrible scent to their products and not effective!1
First and most importantly i LOVE the cute elephant on the bottle. I also really like the shampoo as well. It made my hair nice and soft and didn't dry it out like some shampoos do.4
I liked how clean my hair felt, and the smell was nice. My hair felt full and clean. The sample lasts a long time, and it was very thick. At first I thought it would be a problem, but it lathered very well.5
Effective products, nice fragrance but not over powering.4
I know that there seem to be plenty of people who like clarifying shampoo, whether its because of the effect on their hair and scalp, or because its supposed to to remove residue build up. I just feel like my hair feels off, and continued used makes my psoriasis worse than a normal shampoo. I can't say that my scalp is any worse for one use, but the texture of my hair feels less clean, so I know it is similar to the effect of other clarifying shampoos I have used.3
