At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
This is definitely a decent clarifying shampoo, but works almost too well. My scalp felt great, but my ends were like straw after using this. Smell is ok, I can see how some can love or hate it.4
I appreciate a clarifying shampoo that is low in detergents and doesn't suds up much, but the texture of this shampoo was much too thick and viscous. It almost felt like rubbing vaseline on my hair. I also couldn't stand the smell - it reminded me of the household cleaner - very chemically and artificial. That said, it actually seemed to work fine and didn't overdry my hair as I expected, but it's just not worth it to me.2
The shampoo was very sticky when poured into your hands. I do believe though that the instructions say to mix a certain amount of water into the shampoo before using, which I thought was strange. It didn't foam up very much, but it surprisingly left my hair pretty soft the entire day.4
The shampoo was average. It didn't remove as much oil from my scalp as many other clarifying shampoos, but it was somewhat effective4
This is a pretty standard shampoo. Left my hair nice and soft, but a little dull. I've had the same experience with other products from this brand. It seems to strip the glossiness out of my hair.3
As someone with fine hair, clarifying shampoos are nice to mix in on occasion. This brand continues to provide a quality clarifier that still moisturizes.4
This didn't leave my hair dry which is a nice thing for a clarifying shampoo.4
I didn't care for the smell of this, and it does linger for awhile. This is a thick shampoo, that does provide the "soapiness" I desire, but I can't imagine that the pricey bottle would last very long. I did have clean hair, but this was just ok for me.3
I used this and tried 2 more times to get it to clean my hair but with no success. I have really thick hair and it would not lather up or seem to even crack the first layer. ended up having to use 1 of my other shampoos to wash with1
A little really does go a long way. This shampoo emulsifies in your hands quickly to work up a nice lather. Hair was left silky and shiny.5
