At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
I was so surprised when I put this shampoo in my hair, it's so much thicker and almost like a paste, but as soon as I hit it with some water it lathered quite nicely. I really enjoyed using it followed by the mask of this brand. My hair was super soft after it dried.4
My hair is so soft and shiny after using this, like with the other No. 4 products I have tried. Scent is fabulous. I use minimal product, so I may not be the best to evaluate how well it "clarifies," but my hair looked great! And this is concentrated. That may help me get over the price - ouch.4
I liked the smell, but ended up having to use a lot of product to get my hair completely clean. I might repurchase this; I like having a weekly deep-hair cleaning shampoo and this one didn't leave my hair feeling stripped or gross.4
This product smelled great and left my hair feeling clean. It didn't leave me feeling dry which I really liked.4
I'm constantly looking for natural products that won't dry out or gum up my dry, brittle hair and this was a pretty good one. My hair was soft yet still manageable after using it.5
For the past year and a half, I have been a no-poo/low-poo girl. I used just baking soda and vinegar for about a year and felt my hair needed something more so I began cycling a low-poo with my no-poo. I used Yarok which is what my salon uses. After using this, I would maybe swap Yarok for it. First, it is much cheaper than Yarok, but I really haven't done my research to see if it is as natural. The first use went well. I think the second time I used too much product. After the second wash I went online to read about it and found only a little product is necessary. So for the natural hair girls, this was a decent product, and I might try it out full size in the future.4
I've gotten up to 5 uses with this sample and my hair is mid back length (I only really shampoo the roots though). I think it's made a difference in my hair by making it softer and shiner and much more hydrated. The smell is a little strange to me, like it smells like pet shampoo but I can get over that. I would recommend this.5
I have medium length fine hair, but lots of it. I have to say that I like products that lather well and this did not. The cleansing properties seemed just okay. When blow-drying my hair it seemed like I could have washed it one more time and I'm not a wash and repeat gal.3
It certainly does the job. I liked how my hair felt afterwards, just so clean and light.5
I was pleasantly surprised to see this in my birchbox because ive already received it once! luckily its my favorite so I can't complain!!!5
