At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—and the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave strands feeling and looking dull, this clarifying shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, gently cleanses without stripping moisture or color. Black currant and soy restore vibrancy, acai berry and vitamin C deliver youth-boosting antioxidants, oolong tea and Irish moss defend against environmental damage, and lemongrass and oatmeal gently cleanse and purify. This shampoo is also vegan-friendly and free from sulfate/sodium chloride and parabens.
This shampoo does a nice job of cleansing my hair. I was a bit concerned the first time I used it because it was so thick, but its not sticky once it's been mixed with water and worked though my hair. I've been pleased with all of the No 4 products that I've used so far.5
The smell of this shampoo reminds me of getting my hair washed at a salon. It's almost flowery.5
Loved this shampoo! Very thick and smells amazing! Thank you Birchbox!5
I wasn't sure about this shampoo - it doesn't lather very much which made it harder to use, but my hair did feel very smooth afterwards so overall OK4
So far, this seems to be a very nice product and enjoy using it.5
I'm definitely a fan of clarifying shampoo! My only critique is that I couldn't get it to lather well but that could also be the well water we have. Perfect shampoo for once a week treatment!5
Effective for my fine hair and smells amazing.
Would definitely use every day
I really enjoyed the smell, but I wasn't a fan of the texture. I like a shampoo that creates a good lather and this just didn't do that for me.4
I like this clarifying shampoo. The texture is very thick so I feel like you need to use quite a bit to be able to spread it but it clears u built up junk nicely.4
This is a great shampoo; smells great and I loved the way my hair felt afterward. My only complaint is that it is VERY thick and doesn't lather very well. So in the end I felt like I used the same amount of shampoo even with it being "highly concentrated."4
