Whether you sport a sweet ‘stache or tap your inner Paul Bunyan from time to time, your facial hair says a lot about you—so you don’t want to get complacent when it comes to trimming and shaping. This translucent oil softens up tough beard hair for an all-around smoother experience, even with electric razors. If you’re going for the fresh-faced look, the dual-purpose formula can also be used as a pre-shave treatment to reduce razor burn and ingrown hairs.
I've been using this preshave oil for many years, and it's phenomenal. My skin is sensitive and I got razor burn every time I shaved. Once I started using this oil, combined with rinsing my blade under very hot water, getting razor burn became a thing of the past.5
This is a fantastic product for a quick shave. The warming sensation stimulates the dermis (surface) and lubricates the shaving blade providing a clean, close shave. It works best under a cream or lather but works perfectly well on its own if your'e in a rush. Guys with sensitive, razor burn or break out prone skin, this is a MUST for you.5
Wen first applied it is warm, but it is fleeting and I felt no softer than when I didn't use it.2
I gave this product a chance after using Art of Shaving oil, I figured this would be very similar, I was very wrong. I typically shave in the shower so my face is wet, I add liberal amount to my face, it does have a warming sensation however thats about the extent of the oil. While shaving I can not tell any difference with or without using this oil. I would not recommend this product.1
