Sure, it’s called a lipstick, but we think this supremely moisturizing and wearable formula deserves its own category. Medieval is a hydrating veil, delivering just enough sheer pigment to give you a perfectly berry-stained pucker. Even the most lipstick-averse will love this silky, wearable shade. And, if you’re a color pro, simply layer it on for more oomph.
I love Lipstick Queen so much, their products are well worth the money and hardly a day goes by that I don't wear one of their products. The 'Medieval' color is another great product. Like most Lipstick Queen products, the color is not hat you'd expect. I was expecting a dark red, but it actually turned out to be more of a pink hue. It looks great! I'll definitely be wearing it a lot.
5I read a lot of reviews before buying this and I have to say I think this really is a universal red. It's smooth and moisturizing and compliments my skin tone beautifully. I will agree with some other reviewers though, it does not last very long. But it's so easy to apply, even without a mirror, that I don't mind for the color payoff
5This red leaned more blue toned red than I expected from the picture. However, I love love it! One swipe is an easy neutral, just healthy lips shade for me. Two swipes deposits a little more color and is the easiest to wear red ever. I love to wear reds, but they are a bit heavy for me in the summer. This is a great alternative.
5I'm a lover of red lipstick. Matte, sheer, gloss, you name it. This isn't really any of those. It's somewhat sheer and a little glossy with a really emollient base. It reminds me a bit of chapstick without the super waxy texture. I love the color and really like how you can change the opacity of it with a heavier application. Lipstick Queen never disappoints.
