It’s rare for us to find a fragrance that we love wearing year-round. It needs to be a versatile scent that’s complex enough for the fall and bright enough for the summer, but isn’t overbearing. Which is why we’re such fans of Nicole by Nicole Richie, the debut scent from the reality star-turned-perfumer. Inspired by Richie’s memory of her mother’s favorite beauty ritual—creating unique fragrances by layering bath oils, lotions and perfume—the scent is both warm and bold, with hints of smooth vanilla rounded out by the brightness of blackberry and Moroccan rose. Plus, the chic and compact art deco-inspired bottle makes the perfect addition to any purse.
I honestly did not like the scent at all. It was way to strong for me and gave me a headache. I was disappointed because I have loved every other perfume that I have received from birchbox in the past1
very heavy rose scent. and the pump on the bottle was broken. not for me!1
The scent was a lil too strong and musky for me. Will not buy.1
First, I'm sorry, but who would actually buy a fragrance by or named after Nicole Richie? Not exactly classy on any level. The fragrance is too sweet and musky - definitely not for me. I prefer clean, classic scents.1
good product, but i already have very similar smelling perfumes that l like better4
The smell is addicting! I have been looking for a long time for a smell that is perfect and have found it!5
I was skeptical trying this fragrance: I never trust celebrity scents. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. The fragrance is very warm, with strong amber and vanilla notes. I prefer more fresh scents and so will not be wearing this often, but am certainly not opposed to it either.2
This was one of those egh.. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate the smell. Just wasn't for me.3
it smells pretty, but it's nothing i couldn't live without.4
It was okay, but I would not buy it. A little old ladyish for me.2
