Truth time. We’ve all had zitty moments in our lives, and it’s likely that we’ll encounter a few more. But until science finally comes up with a cure, the best we can do is erase all traces of those blemishes as quickly as possible. That’s where Sampar’s Prodigal Pen comes along. This potion uses natural ingredients to gently heal the blemish from within, minimizing aftereffects like hyper-pigmentation, while simultaneously calming irritated areas and balancing oil levels by inhibiting excess production of sebum. As for those times when you’re blessedly zit-free? The Prodigal Pen also soothes insect bites and razor burn.
I have used this pen on a few blemishes and did not see any results. I was pretty disappointed. It does smell nice and is easy to apply but it did not work for my skin type.2
I saw reviews on how this pen was amazing and cleared pimples up almost instantly, but that didn't happen for me. It smells nice and herbal (kind of minty), but the price isn't worth it. The pen is also really tiny, and about the length of my pinky, which makes the price even more outrageous.3
I saw that this product had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I've used up the pen and I'm ready to buy my second one!
It definitely shortens the life of acne spots. It also helps get rid of the scaring acne leaves faster than they would fade away on their own. It dries out the blemishes as well as the spot that is scarred so the skin flakes away.
I recommend this pen!
Although I don't have many breakouts I've been looking for a good product that will help dry and heal the pimples I do have quickly. Sampar's rollerball pen helped soothe my breakout so that I didn't mess with it AND it smells so good that it could be a perfume.5
Just received this today and immediately opened it up and gave it a whirl. Love that I can put it right over makeup while I am on the go throughout the day. My initial impression...it seems like it will be effective without overly drying. It didn't "sting" going on like many other similar products for this purpose and doesn't have that "medical" smell. The product is well packaged and seems like I can toss it in my makeup bag and not worry about it leaking all over other things.4
I'm waiting to be wowed by this. There were over 290 reviews saying that it zapped pimples in a day or relieved acne scarring in a week. I'm yet to see that happen. It's easy to use, it just rolls on. It smells amazing, herbal I think, maybe a little menthol in there but it smells like essential oils. Leaves skin hydrated. I've used it on top of pimples and haven't seen them diminish and I've used it on acne scars and haven't seen any reduced redness. It's also too small to call it a pen. It's the size of my finger. I'll continue to use it until it's gone and see if anything happens.2
I was impressed with this targeted acne treatment. I definitely found that it helped with some painful sits this summer. If nothing else, the tingly effect was soothing, but I also thought it prevented blemishes from getting worse and shortened their lifetime.
Also, it's easy and discreet to apply and doesn't show on my skin so I can use it any time I feel a blemish starting!
Note: sometimes it does burn a little, but I didn't find any after affects of this: no scarring or dry skin patches.
I Put This On Every Evening And It Keeps Pimples From Getting Large. When They Start. To Form I Put This Product On A Couple Times A Day And They Are Gone Within A Few.Days!5
This product was just ok for me, nothing miraculous. I can't really say that it helped clear blemishes very quickly. It may have worked better if I applied it more often, as the directions state to apply 4-5 times a day! That's just too high maintenance for me to do with any consistency.3
I put this whenever I feel a spot coming on and it stops the growth and has it erupt a lot faster which helps speed through the breakout faze!4
